just seen it Swinton ive removed my post when seen yours don't believe it realy but if guilty hope he gets same punishment as anny football fan would get
-
He'll get found guilty as charged if there's a police officer involved I'm afraid :s
-
Deary me Dave. Why would you instantly go and ruin a great achievement by doing something silly like that? I suspect he will be suspended sometime in the near future.
-
I suspect there may have been alcohol involved, just a guess mind you.

Regards the Fozzie incident in Cyprus,I guess if Fozzie was the manager and DP was a player, then Penney would have been made to leave and fozzie stay.
-
Penney impounded?
-
Penney finally dropped?

I'll give him a character reference anyday . Open character , family man , genuine guy , socially aware and conscious of social rĂ´le of management.
-
The Plods will now have his mugshot, his fingerprints and his DNA all nicely packaged up and stored away on a couple of anonymous hard discs somewhere. So don't do anything you might regret Dave.

think he needs to organise a good "defence"
on a more serious note i was checking out a notts forest midfielder who it seems is going on a season long loan to Scunny (Robins had him on loan at Huddersfield)
UNLESS ROVERS STEP IN PDQ
i called him Madeski and i only turned up the best case law to DEFEND his actions
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DPP_v_Majewski
the useful bit ?? seems to be
" It was however recognised by Lord De Val that certain offences require a mens rea element termed specific intent. The requisite mens rea can be disproved if the defendant can prove that he was so intoxicated as to be incapable of forming such an intent."
-
Lord De Val? Mind you, he spent so much time on the bench you could be forgiven for thinking he was a judge!
As for Dave Penney, I think I would recommend a guilty plea and strong reference to previous good character.
