Can anyone advise best place to park/commute from to get to Wembley on 4th July for ac/dc concert
Thanks
-
I park at Rickmansworth Waitrose and tube it in. V simple
-
Tube from anywhere really. Forget parking - even if you can find a space it'll probably cost more than the ticket. And don't buy any burgers or cans or bottles round Wembley either. It's extortion. Take your own.

I saw a few England games a few years back and left car at Stanmore and got tube from there

Stanmore is the best bet IMO. Remember you CAN'T get in with any food or beverages. Enjoy AC/DC lucky fella. :)

There a car park at the back of Wembley tube station I've used on numerous occasions, not expensive either. There's also car parks at The Torch and The Green Man pubs which I've used for England games.

Thanks guys

We parked car up near stadium last time we went but tbh don't fancy traffic after so Stanmore or Watford sounds best bet

Hear Hear
Stanmore or Canons Park the next Station nearer Wembley. Remember seeing it with no Traffic and loads of Parking spots and "filed it away" in case we ever made it to Wembley again !
Stanmore had been packed and we were nearly a mile from the Station whereas for a 1.3 mile drive / 5 minute drive the area around Canons Park was empty !

Stanmore for me too....
One of the funniest things i've ever seen happened in a car park there the day we won at Wembley.......

A Leeds fan from Donny tore off his White Shirt to reveal the famous Hoops and shouted as loud as possible : ..... boys IM BACK

I had a little chuckle later that day. Was staying in Reading and got the train back there. As I was walking through the station concourse, chest out, read and white stripes stretching, a couple of lads wearing Leeds shirts walked past. One of them (dead ringer for Phil Daniels her were) nudged his mate and said in the thickest (both meanings) cockney accent you've ever heard, " 'kat at 'at carrrrrrrntttttt. Ee's 'avin' a larrrrfffff."
I just winked and belly laughed at the pair of them. Oh yes. Oh VERY yes! I WAS having a laugh.

Stripes, BST? You didn't go dressed as a Blunts fan, did you?

I don't want to piss on your parade but I hope you don't have high hopes for the concert. The acoustics are terrible and the band will be so far away you won't be able to see them properly.

thanks for that - they were fine last time i saw them there
