It seems I'm needed more than ever. I've just read a few threads and it is obvious that since I left, the leftie lunatics have taken over the asylum. wheatleylad has done his best but it is not enough.
So I have decided to return. The leftie drivel I've just read has really made my piss boil. It needs challenging and I am up to the task.
I've also been contacted by the advertisers, and due to a lack of footfall since I left, they are seriously considering not advertising anymore. Being a magnanimous soul I've told them I will return to increase footfall and boost the VSC's coffers. I can't say fairer than that.

I understand your frustration. I'm not a great fan of most politicians. However it is important to understand the main difference between a left wing and right wing ideology.
In a nutshell right wing ideology prefers a small state and lower taxes. Left wingers prefer a large state and higher taxes.
To me it's no brainier. Given that most politicians are useless do you really want to let them get their hands on more of your money? I think they have more than demonstrated that they are not good custodians of our taxes.
So no matter whether you like the posh Tories or alleged racist Ukippers you have to come down on their side if you want to hold onto more of your money.
It is my contention that someone who is not taxed to the hilt is more likely to be entrepreneurial. Exactly what any thriving, vibrant economy needs.
We don't want a load of people living off the backs of others. That's exactly what you get when lefties are in charge.

I disagree with you Sammy, in a peacetime situation that can never work. The disagreements between the Labour Party leadership candidates will tell you why - and they are all supposed to want the same thing.
What we need is a new form of government, that involves us, the people, more closely with the decisions that govern our lives. The government should perform more of an executive role, drafting policy, whilst the actual act of voting this into policy should be done by the public, referendum style. We live in the 21st Century now, not the 17th.

Multiple referendums are a bad idea. Unfortunately the general public are not clued up enough to have this responsibility. There is a serious lack of interest in politics which is a national disgrace.
Another reason referendums all the time are a bad idea is because those with the deepest pockets will prevail and get the result they want. Don't believe me? Watch what happens when we have the EU referendum. It is blindingly obvious to anyone with half a brain that we'd be much better off out of it. Watch how much money gets spent by the 'in' campaign and watch what it does to the result. A lot of this money will be from the EU and our taxes. It won't be any surprise when we vote to stay in as 95% of the population hasn't got a clue and will be swayed by the money and propaganda.
Just remember it is the usual suspects that want us to stay in that also said we should have joined the Euro. They haven't got a clue.

My other brilliant idea of Rovers becoming a feeder club for Leeds also didn't go down too well.

Of course I can't. That doesn't mean its not true. To clarify further. I have had posts that have been deleted and I have had threads locked the same day I posted them. In particular my use of stats seemed to irk the mods considerably.
I suspect you were not guilty of this offence but should find it easy to confirm by asking the other mods. I've no way of proving what I say but would ask impartial readers of the forum to believe what I'm saying as I have built up an unenviable reputation around here as being totally honest and answering every question ever put to me (unlike a few around here I could mention).

To be fair to Filo he does let a lot go and I would rather that be the case even though I do get the rough end of the stick when abuse is being dished out. I don't think I'd be allowed to get away with such behaviour.

I did indeed write to the club with my excellent advice. This led to an upturn in form and we ended up getting promoted. I am far too modest to take all the plaudits for this though I do think if it hadn't been for me we would have been relegated.

Whatever tactics he thinks he's using against me I don't think they're working. He allegedly ignores my posts but can't resist posting about me virtually every day, usually in an abusive manner. Another point is you make out you an expert in campaigns then you state this individual has been trolling these boards for 4 years(rather successfully) so I suggest you are not quite the expert you make out. If it takes 4 years and he still makes a fool of some inviduals I would suggest it has been a very unsuccesfull campaign.

Given the very recent date at which you started posting, you are hardly in any position to make judgements about anybody are you? Why not start again? It's often a good policy to say little while learning the ropes. You, clearly, have zero experience in human psychology as well.
I remain willing to explain both the purpose and the tactical approach of that which of which you complained originally. It's very noticeable that you haven't even mentioned the offer I made you. So I'll repeat it here and now. As i know most of the posters on here, I know exactly what they will think once they see whatever reply you choose to make.

Bob, clearly I rarely post on here but I have read the forum for a number of years and know who the wind up merchants are with their numerous user names. I also know who the posters you refer too who will stand by your side as you have your little group of about half a dozen of you who will back each other up no matter what(No names mentioned but I'm sure many can guess). I am also aware that you have done good things for the club in the past for which I commend you for.
Originally I was none offensive to you and you came back with a patronising statement stating that Men of the world and people with life experience know what you are doing. Now to me that makes you come across as a bit of a D**k.
Thanks for your offer of guidence though but I did decline originally as believe or not some people can form there own opinions even though they may differ from Bob G's.
Good Luck with your little crusade though the first 4 years have gone reallly well and I think in another 2-3 years he may just crack. ;)

Wow there are really some king size egos on here!! I didn't realise I was in the presence of such luminaries! You must be nationally successful politicians, taking the time to post here. I am sure we are all very grateful for the fruits of your, alleged, experience. Judging by your political standpoint on the issues, I will stick my neck out and say that you are Labour supporters. Shame all that political experience and great knowledge of human nature didn't win the election for you.
