I can't find 8 teams better than us on paper. Swindon and Chesterfield are a lot weaker this season. Barnsley are 50/50. Big turn around at Wigan. People talking about Bury and Scunthorpe but reading between the lines I think they've both spent money they don't have.

Fifth
Andy Williams
Liam Mandeville or Mitchell Lund.
Sheffield United and Wigan, plus Rovers via the play offs.

I agree, if my prediction was based on just the players available then I think we are definitely in the top 6. However although I think PD recruits well I'm not sure he as yet has the tactical ability to get us up there.

Not sure about that one. Time will tell. They had a distinct lack of goals last season. To remedy that they've signed two strikers who were playing non-league football least season (Joe Gormley from Cliftonville and Lee Angol who was playing at Boreham Wood). It's always a big gamble with that kind of approach so I don't quite understand how anyone can predict them to go up with any kind of confidence.

Are Colchester really that bad, and Chaplow young player of the year. I know we've got one or two oldies in the squad but hmmm ?

Could be a good season, or a disaster. Depends on how PD performs tactically and whether he can refrain from abusing the officials.
1) 1st
2) Williams. Or that rather large foreign chap in the nets
3) Middleton.
4) Doncaster Rovers, Bradford City, Sheff Utd.
5) Crewe, Colchester, Port Vale, Blackpool.
I backed us at 14-1, for a top two place just to be on the safe side. I said last season we would finish in the bottom 10. This season I believe we could actually win it. We've got a striker who knows where the net is, so take a bit of pressure of Tyson. A goalkeeper who not only commands it but backs it up with his saves. Plus some fine midfielder players fighting to get into the starting 11. Something that was missing last year...... Hunger.

What position will Rovers finish next season? 3rd
Player of the year next season? Williams
Young player of the year next season? Middleton
Which 3 teams promoted? Sheff Utd, Wigan, Rovers
Which 4 teams relegated? Crewe, Blackpool, Colchester, Chesterfield
-
Expectations are high!
Let's make sure we don't let anyone tell us "nobody expected anything at the start of the season, so why are you moaning that we're 14th?" in March.
-
What position will Rovers finish next season? Play Offs - tho we have potential to go higher I think
Player of the year next season?
Hopefully one of the strikers who has scored 25+ goals and shot us back to the Championship.
However I think Copps and Forrester will fight it out again but FORRESTER to win it this time - Williams to press em when he finds the net once and the floodgates open
Young player of the year next season? Mandeville
Which 3 teams promoted? In no particular order: Wigan, Us, Scunny - Sheff Utd to lose in PO again!
Which 4 teams relegated? Shrewsbury, Blackpool, Crewe, Colchester

Position: 12th, although that's presuming we don't get rid of P.Diddles.
Player of the season: Williams hopefully, wouldn't it be great if he scored 20 or more over the season?
Young player: Expecting good things from Middleton if he's given the chance.
Don't know or care where any one else finishes.
