Last season was the first time Rovers ever played Fleetwood, and we only managed 1 point from 2 matches. Could tomorrow be the first win against the Cod Army?

The VSC preview made me laugh more in a few sentences than Michael McIntyre has ever done in his entire career.

In fact, Kevin McIntyre has made me laugh more than M.McIntyre.

We've been pretty poor overall. But we are a decent counter attacking side and have done that well. THEY look a threat but final ball let's them down. Our front two do link up well but we have to be better in midfield.

Yep, strange. If there were a long term issue between him and Dickov I don't think he would have been starting the games he has.

Will be interesting to hear the full story, am sure it will come out. I suspect there is an issue between him and Dickov - words been had and Wellens talking with his feet in the only way he can these days.

Yep, something must have happend between the two.

Right behind Dickov on this one. Wellens has been shit for some time now and Dickov has stayed loyal and kept him in the team.

Hopefully we can shift him out as he will be on a decent wage. Shaping up to be busy deadline day isn't it?

Great to get a win, but next two league games Gills & Walsall both away. Very difficult. These will tell us how we're doing.
With the injuries & thin-ness of squad we'll do well to get anything out of them.

I don't think the competition rules allow that, dickos. Academic anyway because we don't have eleven more players unless we field half the youth team.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Stewart, Whitehouse and maybe Marosi start though.

No, it wasn't.

For sure, we were lacking in quality and footballing finesse, however the commitment and workrate were there to see.  Don't forget an in-form Fleetwood really came at us, having scored 8 in 2 games.

We were second best for pure football, but won the game through hard work and determination.

For all their second half possession Fleetwood didn't trouble the BFG.
He only had a couple of saves to make.
The midfield lads backed up our defenders well and there was only one occasion when I thought they might score.
It was refreshing to see an away tea that didnt just play to frustrate and that is why we were able to get behind them so often.
Main and Williams were very good today as was ATS, Evina and Copps.
