Title: Re: Blunts v TLO Doncaster

Looks like either a 4-4-2 with Copps and TS as full backs, Stewart and Evina either side of Wellens and Keegan, Anderson and Williams up top!

Or maybe a 3-5-2 with Butler, MacKenzie and TS as back three, Evina and Stewart as wing-backs with Wellens, Keegan and Copps behind the other two.

The latter could be very attacking if players are utilized properly (Copps behind front two, Keegs and Wellens cleaning up!)

Come on Rovers!

N'guessan unlucky to be on the bench.

I think he's still working on his fitness and Jones doesn't want to rush him. I'd be surprised if he doesn't come on at some point.
That appears quite a strong line up. Just hope Keegan is fit enough and that we don't play Evina at right back again. Copps would be the better option.

Yes, he appears to have had more shots on goal in the first 10 minutes than we have had in the first half of every game thus far in the season.

And to think that, at the start of the season, I was quite hopeful. It's way too early in the season to have a squeaky bum, in't it?  :turd:

One out all out!  Someone has to get a grip of this team and fast.

To be fair, the ref has influenced the outcome if reports of the red card being harsh are correct

You need XI players to compete at Bramhall Lane. Sounds like ref destroyed the contest.

Need a bit of a refresh if we can.  Not sure Gobern and Chaplow bring anything to the side.

Always struggling with ten vs eleven

Let's get a manager in who wants a few new faces, the defense was poor last year it's worse this season, we have no creativity in midfield bar wellens when he can be bothered,we have imo 1 of the best forwards in this league and he gets no service

Not convinced by Chaplow thus far. To be fair, today sounded like a much better showing but the ref spoiled the contest. Don't agree with those folks saying League Two beckons. It's way too early to be saying such stuff. We will not be relegated this season. The appointment of the next manager is crucial though.

Yeovil relegated from L1 last season are struggling in L2, could be heading to the NL (Conf). I hope we are not copying them! We need a competent manager in asap to get a grip of things before the situation is terminal. Ref had a big say on the outcome of the game, but that has happened before, and we haven't learnt from it.

As much as I want Jones to do well, I am thinking it needs fresh blood in charge. Lots of work to do.  What a mess Paul Dickov left.

I feel we have the game away

TBH Jones is probably out of his depth trying to sort things out post PD. The manager change should have been done in the Summer.

Don't get your last sentence but I agree with the first one. Dickov left us in a real mess.

Not sure pd has left us in a mess, think he did his best with the available money apart from buying a right back, everyone is to blame the board the manager and the players

Sorry but I think he HAS left us in a mess. He seems to have wasted most of the funds he was given on players that haven't improved the team.
