Won: 31

Rovers have won the last 3 matches against the Minstermen and haven't lost to York since 2003. Forrester was the only scorer in the last encounter back in August 2014.

A strong team tonight, with 10 days off before the next game, why not?
COYR
-
Surprised he's not chosen to rest a few more. Thats a strong side.
-
I'm sure there would have been more changes if we were playing on Saturday. I guess Chaplow is omitted because of the booking situation.
-
Is McCullough injured?
-
Is McCullough injured?
He is on international duty
-
Would have thought Stewart would have got a run out, injury maybe.
-
Bloody hell that is a strong side, possibly the best we can pick? Jones is going for it, last chance to impress the owners maybe?
-
Is McCullough injured?
He is on international duty
Ah right, cheers.
-
Obvious it was going to strong team for 2 reasons.
1) we got no game saturday
2) Jones knows if we dont win this, then he will have no chance of getting the job.
-
@liamhoden: Neil Redfearn is in the directors' box at Bootham Crescent #drfc #starlive
Read into that what you will
COYR
-
Not a good start that
COYR
-
@liamhoden: Ball out to Straker all too easily, crossed in and Oliver gets in ahead of his marker to head past Stuckmann #ycfc 1 #drfc 0 #starlive

How many games in a row is it now that we have conceded goals from unmarked players putting away crosses? It must be approaching half a dozen, at least. They do not ever learn from the same mistakes.
-
Strong team. Good chance to maintain some continuity. Let's hope for a better result.
-
Here we go again.. Very strong side out tonight and already 1-0 down from pathetic defending. C'mon boys!!
-
BBC ticker only shows stats and no comments on whats happening. No idea how we are playing?

Thanks DU.
I'm following the official tweets too.. It would appear like we are well in the game though...
-
Does anybody else wonder why given his height Stuckman doesn't come to claim more crosses?
-
Half time with it all to do in the 2nd half
COYR

Does anybody else wonder why given his height Stuckman doesn't come to claim more crosses?
YES !!! And may I welcome myself to the Lucky Pint for the first time
-
Lee Clark is also in the directors' box also at Bootham Crescent. !

Give him a sign!
-
Same as the first half start well and concede
COYR

@drfc_official: Another goal for Vadaine Oliver as York catch Rovers on the break. The big striker rounding Stuckmann to slot hime his second #drfc 2-0
-
(r) over and out to give us a fighting chance !
-
I bet both candidates will not bother coming for interview after this performance from the players.
-
I am working at the moment, and my phone isn't bothering to update me. I step back from work for a mo to find this... *facepalm* :suicide:
Oh well, we need to focus on the league as a matter of priority. :scarf:
-
Losing 2-0 at York with possibly our strongest side. Pretty embarrassing.
-
It happens. And it especially happens to teams that are not exactly brimming with confidence or are going through some kind of turmoil. If we lose, we go again.
-
Does anybody else wonder why given his height Stuckman doesn't come to claim more crosses?
I think he'll up his game on this front when we play Scunny
He'll be coming for Iron crosses :coat:

I would say disappointing rather than embarrassing, maybe?
-
Not that bothered about this. More important who the next manager is going to be. good luck to york i say.
-
York have got even less confidence than us. Listening to radio York on my way home from the match last Tuesday the fans all want the manager, the board and the players to go. That's what makes this result the more embarrassing.
-
Have we lost yet? Forrester double to come.....!
-
it is crap, no effort from any player, looks like no one is trying to impress a new manager or play for rob either
-
Hope I don't become the Philsky of cyberspace eek !

Unfortunately more likely two yellows than two goals :chair:
-

wtf is going on!!
-
How anybody can say that they're not bothered about going out of this competition is beyond me, its our best hope of any silverware & a trip to Wembley.
-
Be nice to hear from someone who is there.are we just unlucky?
-
The way we are playing and the results we're getting means that I would happily sacrifice all of this if it means we can shore up and get out of the relegation zone. Sure, I don't think we'll be relegated but my old ring-piece is twitching more than a little at the moment.
-
seems as if we are in more of a mess than was perhaps realised
-
Poor poor and poor again
COYR
-
Rob Jones ex caretaker manager
-
Why after a disappointing result is it the end of the world? We weren't in a mess in the last 2 home league games were we?
