Stat Attack
Won: 8
Drawn: 8
Lost: 11

Rovers haven't beaten Millwall since November 2010, and haven't won at the New Den since February 2008. In the last 30 years we have only beaten the Lions twice. Maybe tonight is a night to buck the trend?

haven't won at the New Den since February 2008.

and what a game that was.. I think we had 30 efforts on goal that day, winning 3-0 with Greeny's superb volley the pick of the bunch.  That was only a few days after we had 27 chances against Hartlepool.

I would settle for 10 efforts on goal tonight, as long as we score enough!

That looks like Evina and Lund are wingbacks with Butler, Taylor-Sinclair and McCoulough centre backs

Is Keegan not fit?

He is never fit, proves yet again a defensive midfield player with strength and pace should have been signed in the summer. Along with a right back with the same attributes.

Yet we signed Chaplow who as yet is not up to playing central midfield in league one.

I'm afraid we have a squad full of players with Andy Watson-sized hearts. Look at the squad, with Jones out, and ask yourself who you would want at the side of you in a scrap.

No-f**king-one. They are a bunch of lightweights who have no desire between them.

b*llocks, we don't go out aiming for a draw.

I am not sure what Forrester, Keegan and N'Guessan have got to do to get a start, especially after the poor efforts from the others on Saturday?

Although as it stands now, I would happily take a draw!!

We can't have to much of a clear out as most I think are on 2 year contracts, think the board need to change the strategy of signing longer contracts,it's all well and good on younger players but players like Gary Mac butler on a 3 year chaplow on a 2 year is pointless

Agreed, and it could be a good few weeks before DF gets us out of the bottom 4..

Hopefully just a bad spell though - wasn't that long ago we were enjoying that victory over Barnsley was it?

What did people expect? You wanted a manager who would play an open game, this is the result.

In our first six league games under Dickov we conceded five goals. We have already conceded seven in two games and 10 minutes under DF. He can't and never has been able to arrange a team to defend.

Could be worse.

We could be Arsenal fans.  3-0 down v Wensdeh.  Football Heaven should be a hoot tomorrow night.... yawn.

Arsenal are joint top of the Premier League and beat Bayern Munich last week.

Where does this end for us?

I just hope we can do what we did under SOD when we were bottom at Xmas then didn't lose another match to the end of the season.

What about them? Not one on target. Second half has been a lot better to be fair.

Need to get Keegs on at half time

Please not the "Keegan will be our saviour" call again. He's not gonna improve anything.

Performance levels, commitment, effort, that sort of thing?

Still needs to turn into goals soon though.

Can't judge shots just on that stat. A few been close. Better a shot whistling past the upright than trickling in for a comfy save.

What would u rather have? A 40 yard shot that the keeper puts his hat on (shot on target)or balls flying across the box players being clean through, obvious chances being created? (No shots on target)

The keeper can fumble a trickling shot on target. If it's going wide does it matter. It won't end up in the net.

Unfortunately the only stat that really counts is goals.  Creating chances is good, but it makes no difference if 0 out of 8 are on target, or if all 8 are on target and saved easily.

Last time we won at Millwall we had 30 attempts and scored 3, so that meant 27 failed to succeed, whether on target or not.  27 goal chances where we failed.  Got promoted that season too.

But for the fans' sakes, we need goals and wins and soon!!!!

We could always hope for a deflection, but a shot on target, even a trickling shot could go in.

Of course a keeper can fumble, but a shot whistling just wide could easily have gone the other side of the post and MUCH more likely to be a goal. Shots on target is an indication of good chances, but not something to hang your hat on.

Creating chances is unrelated to shots on target, you can create great chances without getting attempts in target, but creating chances means you've played well

Millwall now equal bottom.
According to BBC stats
There have only been 2 league games where we have conceded more free kicks than been awarded
We've had 13 yellow cars and 1 red. Opposition 27 yellows, no reds.

Maybe we need to be a bit more cynical on the pitch.
