Title: The Nasty Party
Post by: BillyStubbsTears on November 28, 2015, 02:11:20 pm
That's what Teresa May reckoned people thought of the Tory Party.

Well, the nastiest little shit of the lot has resigned this morning. Shame it took the suicide of one of his workers to force it.

I don't doubt it TRB. Which is one reason that Livingstone has never made the Cabinet. Unlike Shapps, whose nastiness goes a long way further than egotistical preening and saying stupid things.

For example, in Shapps's CV is the f***ing disgraceful way that he bullied a constituent into retracting entirely true allegations about Shapps's bare-faced lying. Shapps tried the strong-arm tactic of threatening his constituent with legal action - exactly what the rich, strong bully does to psych-out the little man. He lies as easily as he breathes and politics is better with him out of the front line.

Shapps was never a member of the Cabinet. He may have attended Cabinet meetings as Conservative Party Chairman, but he wasn't a member.

My point was, all parties have nasty pieces of work in them. You can throw in Lord Rennard from the Lib Dems if you like.

Goid point TRB. I was assuming that Chairman of the party was a Cabinet post. Confused it with Chief Whip.

I like the fact Schapps has been replaced with another Eton educated ex bullingdon boy. Also 4th generation Tory MP. The perpetual merry-go-round of privilege continues...

Jon

If there's one drop of sympathy that you could wrong out of me for Schapps, it's that. He's the working class Tory kid. I wonder if having to compete with these "born to rule" Kitsons meant that he had to bend the rules and fight like a cornered rat?

Shapps is an expendable chancer.

Iain Duncan-Smith & Chris Grayling - now there's some real nasty pieces of work.

It would take an individual with exceptional values to become embroiled in the current Westminster environment and to NOT be tempted to join the frenetic race to immerse your snout deep in the trough of privilege and persuasive lobbying.

A curse on all their houses.
