Stat Attack
won: 7
drawn: 11
lost: 8

Rovers actually lost the last encounter with Cambridge just over a decade ago in the LDV Vans trophy. The season before that we secured a second successive promotion to third tier with a 2-0 victory over The U's at Belle Vue.

I'm confident we'll win tomorrow and equal the number of times we've lost to Cambridge :scarf:

The bench is stronger than of late but is a little short of attacking options. Hopefully we won't need them!

Service isn't good enough with player and never has been, which is why I cancelled my subscription ages ago. It does seem as though the Cambridge press box is under prepared as Liam Hoden has tweeted he's having to use his laptop on his knee.

Awful defending. We concede a penalty, Stuckman saves it and the defenders all stand and watch as the Cambridge players react and put the ball into the net.

BAD BAD attitude from Rovers players, stood with their hands on their hips on the edge of the Box  :crying:,It one of my pet hates,Defending players should be ready to pounce on a rebound/save.Always have a player or 2 stood away several yards out the box, timing their run with the taker to get a yard or 2 advantage,GGRRRR! it annoys me.
Rant over,Well done with the original save stucky(not surprising with his record),shame some players let you down.Come on Donny lets get back in this. :scarf: :scarf:

ATS got a foot to the ball and the Cambridge player fell over him.
Never a pen.
Even the BBC pundits say it was harsh and that from where the ref was standing it would have been hard to have a clear view.

As a BBC commentator, MW is supposed to be impartial so even though he has Rovers connections he has to be unbiased.

It isn't rubbish, it is fact.

They don't call the teams you mentioned "Sheffield"because there are two teams in that city.
Much the same as they wouldn't say Manchester.

Because he's a grade A Kitson.

And it's b*llocks to cite impartiality, as we've been referred to as Donny or Rovers on FLS, The Championship etc in the past. He's a very bitter man for no apparent or good reason.

Maybe not but there are some people who just don't like him anyway so they look for reasons to have a go at him anyway.
I have two friends who commentate for the BBC and one who works for another radio station and they have all told me that they have to try not to be biased.

First half has been dogshit Cambridge are winning every first and second ball. Never a penalty but what a poor performance. Get Lund off and get Stewart on. If we keep the ball on the floor and actually shoot we will win this.
Cambridge are playing long ball and bullying us and so far it's working - maybe get Keegan on!

I agree Yorki but he let his guard slip towards the end.
Did you hear it?

Whatever he says though won't be good enough for you, coz you just don't like him do you?

As i type this he is telling us about how he loves the Rovers and especially the Rovers fans.

My point about support commentators being asked not to be biased though is based on what i have been told by the ex players i know who do commentaries.
