This Tuesday will see the 64th match between Rovers and Scunthorpe.
1991 was the last time Scunthorpe did the double over Rovers.
Scunthorpe have only won 1 out of the last 10 meetings and managed 5 out of a potential 30 points.
Rovers won their last trip to Glanford Park in October 2014; Coppinger and Tyson the scorers in the 2-1 victory.

Pick the bones out of that line up. Looks like a back 3 again. Surprised Grant dropped unless that's punishment for the "duck".

Not going to be daft enough to call this one. Not sure if I'm daft enough to listen to the commentary!

Looks weak to me. Not sure who is going to score the goals.

12 goals in the league for players who start tonight and 17 goals in the league for players on the bench.

Let's hope we can score tonight.

Much better age balance. And balance of skill and grit.

Go and do it lads. I'll be cheering you on from a train up from the Smoke.

Pretty meaningless stat about league goals on the bench - Williams has been well off the boil and doesn't merit a start.

Could still be a back four of Lund-Butler-ATS-Evina with McC and Keegan ahead of them, will be interesting to see how they line up. Presumably Alcock is injured?

I do feel, worryingly, that the constant chopping and changing now has a bit of a feel of pin the tail on the donkey! Hopefully the aim is improving as each match passes!

It might be meaningless but it was the beginning of January when a striker scored and both are on the bench. So if we are critising Williams then all the strikers have been off the boil. Some may run harder than others but it the same result we don't score.

I'm guessing you saw Wiiliams put a free header from four yards out over the bar on Saturday?

Over the bar via the floor!

Before the game, I tried to convince myself that it had to change or that it couldn't get worse... We appear to be digging ourselves a major hole now. At least we have plenty of time to try to salvage this game, but it's not as though we're scoring the goals at the moment. :crying:

For those of an optimistic disposition skybet are now offering odds of 14-1 for us to win, maybe Fergie should let the lads know and they can put a few bob on it, you never know it might motivate them.

Can honestly say I hope to god we get a new manager next season as df to me is clueless, he likes to play attacking footbAll yet we play none, anyone can see the defence is woeful yet he does nothing, that bored with this performance it's more exciting on the forum

The rot has to stop sometime though?  Unbelievable how the same set of players who were doing well until the Gillingham game now can't seem to knock the skin off a rice pudding.  Either the manager isn't up to it, or the players need a long hard look at themselves...

We were poor against crewe we just got lucky, in other games we didn't work chances we scored 25 yarders, I can't think of many games this season where I've thought yes excellent performance

Only if the players put the effort in, which they appear not to want to. We need to go back to basics

Be interesting to see what our record is with and without Coppinger on the pitch these past couple of seasons.

I suspect it's top half with him and bottom 4 without him.
