If we are playing a back four then Evina or McCullough will be playing RB.

I think Calder will be the back of the diamond, with Chaplow right, Grant left and Gooch at the head of the diamond.

Calder is a fast winger, not a holding midfielder

I believe when we signed him DF said he can play in various postions from holding midfield player to attacking winger. Let's see whose in what postion. It's still probably the worst midfield we've had in the last  10 years.

His 'prowess' indeed, he is stealing a place in the starting XI every week. Where has Lund gone?

The back four there has me very worried. Evina isn't a right back at all, and he's actually a threat on the other side. McCullough is too slow to play full back, but at least a CB pairing of him and Butler might be solid. In front of that, I'm happy to have the two up front as they were working well together before this bad run, but what is the midfield plan? I hope we have one.

Gooch - Chaplow - Grant - Calder is my assumption if it's a flat 4.

Not sure DF knows what the best starting 11 is. Never have been keen on chopping and changing week after week. Given that our performances of late have been no better  whoever has started, he may be better sticking to the same starting 11 and system between now and the end of the season and pray that continuity and stability might bring a change in fortune

According to BBC stats Bradford have had 3 shots and only one on target, we have had 2 off target.  How that equates to doing well to keep to 1-0 beats me??

Other than that, yes, we need to change something in the second half..

Fergie can't be enjoying his job right now, I wonder how much longer he can put up with things before he walks away?

Listening to his interviews, I'm certain he's happy with his place here and is looking to build the team for next season whether we're in League 1 or 2.

I'm sure off record he might be thinking very differently. He has to say he is committed etc, to keep his job, we would all do it, but privately I'm sure he is thinking of where he might go after Rovers. Maybe, quietly he is trying to secure his next role, and it's not in place yet, so he has to sit tight, until all the pieces are in place for him to move on.

Doing well to keep it at 1-0 I guess.

According to BBC stats Bradford have had 3 shots and only one on target, we have had 2 off target.  How that equates to doing well to keep to 1-0 beats me??

Other than that, yes, we need to change something in the second half..

Will any changes make a difference? we lack quality throughout the squad and it's showing.

Sadly true but we can't leave it the same, it isn't doing the business either.

I would like to point out that in this fixture last season we were a goal down at half time and won 2-1. Hope yet for us...

Unless you expected promotion, DF hasn't failed at anything yet.

To me, it seems like a massive gamble to try to get to the end of the season like this, but if we manage that we will have the opportunity to get the players in that DF wants for an assault on league one next season.

Fortunately apart from Colchester winning we are no worse off today.  However I always argue we should rely on our own results.

We have crucial games coming up against teams around us, Chesterfield, Colchester, Blackpool and Crewe. We need to win one or more of these "6 pointers", or we are down. Curent form suggest we would probably lose either all or most of these games, draws will probably not be good enough with Blackpool breathing down our neck and Oldham having two games in hand of us.
