Title: Walsall
Post by: dickos1 on April 25, 2016, 06:36:13 pm
On Friday night I stopped at hollins hall which is in baildon, a few miles outside of Bradford.
Also stopping the night were the Walsall team and staff,
The manager, John Whitney I believe was proper tanked up, along with around 5 or 6 of the staff were drinking until around midnight,
It was no surprise to me that they got battered the next day.
I had a conversation with him, he was very complimentary about drfc and said fergie was a very good manager and bloke, I did tell them we needed them to beat Shrewsbury on Tuesday, to which he replied "get us all a drink in and I promise we will beat them"

I just thought, it was a massive game for them on Saturday and for all their staff to be paralytic the night before was very poor.

Poor? Totally unprofessional, I would say.

Makes you wonder if the players were in their rooms sharing a few crates of ale!

The players were all in the swimming pool/gym until around 8pm and then they went to their rooms.

£70 on drinks .... then £70 on Walsall at evens ?

So you are £70 up on the deal and Rovers have an even better chance if they win their last 2
