If the weather is ok this is a great idea normally watch the tournament games at the dome
-
It is a really good idea but don't think it would be very family friendly if the bar opens at 12 and the match doesn't kick off till 8. Maybe just my opinion
-
Good idea. Can see a few ending up in the lake if it's a hot day and England win.
-
Let's hope it's better than Crystal Palace's effort.

Regular advertisements on the big screen regarding tickets, season tickets and membership throughout the day is a must, it presents a great oppourtunity

Unfortunately I can see this being 'scrote' central, especially if the weathers good and alcohol is being served all day. Hope I'm wrong.
-
A lot will prefer to watch in town though with it being Saturday night.

Yes, if the weather is poor, no-one will turn up. If it is good then the amount of drinking will probably mean it isn't family friendly.

For me it's a great idea and is a decent source of income for the club in the off season.
Agree with the sentiments in terms of the family day. I wouldn't take my young un and think they'd have done a better job by not marketing it as such. My favourite England day was at York Races when we beat the Jocks in 96. Again it wouldn't have been deemed a family day, me and my brother left the place drenched head to toe in lager but I still remember it vividly 20 years on. If they get this right they should be able to get the right balance of people who want the day to have a drink mixed with families more or less correct.

Given decent weather, I quite fancy the idea of watching it on the big screen at the amphitheatre. Persuading my mates is another matter.
I hope it's a success and I hope it is attended by a good cross section. Is it the day before when they're showing Star Wars and a couple of other films?
More income for Club Doncaster!
