Hi
We are currently researching the growth in the buying and wearing of
replica football shirts by adult fans since the 1970s. We are aiming to
gather the experiences and opinions of fans who have bought or been
given replica shirts (be it occasionally or every season!), and
of fans who have never owned a replica shirt. We are keen to hear
from fans of all ages - and particularly those aged over 40, who
might have bought replica shirts in the 1980s and early 1990s.
We'd be very grateful if you'd be willing to complete our short survey
(should take 5 minutes at most).
You can access it here:

Thanks for your time :)
Chris Stride (University of Sheffield) and Nick Catley (Independent
researcher).

Any grown man that wears a replica shirt to a football match needs recording and putting on a register.

Fackin nonces
-
And any grown man who has a player's name printed on the back ought to lose the right to vote and the right to have children.
-
Any grown man who gets a players autograph tattooed to them needs euthanising.
Oh.
-
Lots and lots of grown men due to go on the register then Gaz.
-
There's plenty of room for them all.
-
All nonces aren't we.

I love a grown man in a replica Jersey, especially when it's tight and hugs his muscles.
Also like men who's views on masculinity date back to the 80s (you decide which century). They are more fun to 'break in', if you catch my drift.

I hope it's not wasted on you that your avatar is of a grown man wearing a replica shirt.

Muscles, you won't see many of those in donny, a beer gut and nine stone over weight would be about right!.

What a crap survey. When did you stop wearing a child size shirt -Maybe when the person stopped being a child. When did you start wearing and adult sized shirt? - Hmmmm, let me think about that one. Started doing it but stopped after about six or seven obvious answer questions.
-
My lad is 13 and he wears a large man size shirt. Not always obvious!
-
Poorly constructed survey, twice it wiped my answers so gave up in the end.
-
Thanks to all who have completed our survey (see start of thread) :) We have had over 2,500 responses from fans of the 92 league clubs! If you haven't completed the survey yet and would like to, then you have until the end of the month before we close it and analyse the data.
