Title: View from the bottom of a glass
Post by: Bentley Bullet on June 26, 2016, 12:36:18 am
I'm as pissed off as anyone with the outcome of the vote from a personal point of view.

I think what swayed the nation to vote leave was down to a lot of people being sick to death of those holier than thou, luvvy duvvy, powder puff, patronising, know all, do gooder Jessie's that pissed them off enough to vote the other way.

It very nearly made me vote leave anyway.

There is a lot to be said for that. People wanting to register a protest by voting No, without actually knowing what it was they were voting for. Or caring even.

I blame it all on those couples who said they weren't going to vote cos they evened each other out, yet the old fella snuck along to the polling station during a fag break and Mrs stayed at home. ******* liers to the end, the lot of them.

Bob Geldof shouting abuse and sticking his fingers up at trawlermen.

I thought that too. Farage was making a bit of a prat of himself and along came Geldof and looked an even bigger one. Farage was then able to make capital out of it.
