that petition has inspired my train of thought (non virgin) to the above
i'm struggling for a starter either way
I know alick Jeffrey scored one must be one or two wind assisted
evina is coming close and show potential

The one the Burnley defender scored for us when we beat them 1-0 in 2010/11 was a cracking header.
-
Schmeical pushing the corner in v Leicester
-
Colin Douglas away at Gillingham late 80s/early 90s - header from the edge of the box
-
Liam Daish of Cambridge Utd scored a cracking 30 yard backwards header for us on a particularly windy day. Their goalie went ballistic, we all fell about lol
-
John Hasledene away at Hereford United in a 4-3 loss ?
Scored og for their Winner when someone belted a clearance and it hit JH on his back and flew back in the net
May have misremembered all of that but I reckon someone will tell me if I have !
-
Dean walling v Altrincham (I think) rosso end
-
Off Mcindoe's arse.......goalie clearing...
-
Rufus Brevit at Gillingham - nominated for their goal of the season
-
Best own goal I've ever seen live was when Ben Smith took a goal-kick against a wind, Matt Mills headed it, and the ball went straight in.
No Grimsby player had a touch.
Absolute bas**rd that one, still convinced that blunder cost us JPT season. Despite that penalty re-take at the end.

Schmeical pushing the corner in v Leicester

Yes, remember that vividly! And didn't a QPR defender head one in from near the halfway line around the same time?
-
For some reason i always thought chris brass scored that peach where he kicked it in his own face then into the goal but i looked online and it wasnt

Yes I believe that was Damien Stewart heading clean over Radek Cerny in a 2-0 win from what must have been 30 yards out. Brilliant finish.

Wasn't this the game where we had that string of 30 plus passes?

Think it may have been Paul Malcolm in goal away at Darlington - Darlo player shot and it was sailing over the bar, Malcolm jumps up and reaches for the ball, gets a hand on it and as he comes back down drops it under the bar and over the line.. Think that was the winning goal if my memory serves me.
-
Think it was Paul Crichton
Although Paul Malcolm had a few clangers in his time
-
It could well be Crichton. Whichever it was created an own goal instead of a goal kick.
-

Yep. I'll go for that one. One and only time I've ever been to the Priestfield. Some memories are best left alone.

I remember Russ Wilcox, heading an unstoppable own goal into the top corner, of the town end goal, it might have been against scunny.
