Reminds me of playing "meeting bingo" with certain "buzzwords"..

I have sat beside some quite senior officials in important meetings, who have their "bingo" cards open!!

Sounds like something David Brent would teach his staff in a training session.

Sounds like something David Brent would teach his staff in a training session.

Things I have heard in meetings...

"Where's the Delta" - which I eventually assumed to mean the gap between where we are and where we want to be, rather than a geography question about rivers.

"What's the exam question" - again I assumed this meant what's the most important issue.

Why can't folks just say what they mean in plain english?

"Strike product" my arse!!

It's nonsense speak really.
But at least the penny seems to have dropped that the main focus should be on the football team.
It's almost an admission that it hasn't been which is what some of us have feared for a while.
Let's hope they stay focussed now and continue to give Fergie the tools to do the job.
The fact that they have allowed him to recruit so many so early speaks volumes for the change of attitude.
It's interesting that Baldwin says money from the stadium and Club Donny will be diverted into the football team now.
If it hasn't in the past where has it been going?
It would also be nice to see some figures mentioned as to how much whatever arm of the club brings in to the 'strike product'.
Finally, how the Dons make a profit baffles me!
