Maybe been mentioned before on here but got a Letter as STH offering admission to Legends Lounge
Is that the East Stand venue ? Are they dishing out 50 Passes per game meaning 100 people get in there each game? Anyone got theirs Booked yet
Anyone fancy a VSC Posters "meeting" for a game later in the Season
-
On holiday got e mail to say ST is ready but don't know about lounge
-
I've got to go in the ticket office this week to sort a few things out, will ask them about this while I'm there. I'd actually forgotten about it, just stuck my letter in a drawer! I think it is the East Stand hospitality bit, at first I thought it was Alick's Bar in the West Stand but will ask what the deal is with it.
-
Cheers ....
One thing I forgot to ask. If you get a Pass that admits 2 does it allow 2 people in or does the non STH still pay ? That is to say does the Pass admit you to the Lounge but you still need a Match Ticket ?
If both get in "free" I presume the STH has to trade his Seat (say in the West) for one in the East. TBH its not very well written and leaves a few questions unless I am as thick as a Barnsley Chop !
Cheers Dave DRFC or anyone else with the relevant info ! :clapping:

Came home to a letter saying 2 tickets for Cambridge game waiting at ticket office
-
we won't be bothering to use our 2 letters.......
I cant see there is any point to it.
we got told there was no facilities for wheel-chair disabled anyway.
so we may as well stay in the west stand where we have a reasonable positions
while I am saying something...........We also missed out on taking the Penalty as early -bird purchasers of the season tickets.
as
a. it wasn't allowed on a match day time... like the previous season......
b. it was my Fathers 80'th birthday party.
c. we live in Lincoln, and that would take a couple of gallons of fuel
d. it take me 3 hours to get my wife ready before we even set off to Doncaster..........
but hey...........what does that matter?

I get one of those yesterday as well.
I'm giving one to my son and after five minutes wondering who to offer the other one to suddenly remembered that I didn't renew my season ticket for the first time in years. That's me sorted then.

:clapping: Nice one !

Have these letters gone out to all STH's? Not had mine yet or an e-mail to say season tickets are ready for collection

I got an email a few days ago to say ST is ready for collection.
I got the letter about the lounge access quite a few weeks ago.

Guess I should read things better - Cambridge tickets are for Alliance membership
-
E-mail went straight into my junk box 😂😄 not had the lounge letter though

Just asked about this, basically you choose a game you want to use the voucher for and then swap your season ticket voucher for that game for 2 Legends Lounge passes which get you in the East Stand bar, tickets on half way line, get to hang around for man of the match presentation etc. There are only 50 pairs of these tickets per match so need to book in advance. If you want food as well you just pay to upgrade the tickets. Hope that helps!
-
If you change your season ticket for two lounge passes does that mean....
1) you get two matches where you can go into the lounge or
2) you get two passes for one match and can rake someone in the lounge with you. If so does that person have to buy a match ticket or is it a freebie?
-
It's 2 tickets for one match. Other person doesn't have to buy a ticket. It is basically just swapping your season ticket voucher for 2 Legends Lounge passes for one game, which includes match tickets.

Thanks for that .... a lot clearer now Cheers DW

With Season well underway has anybody used their offer yet and how did it go ?

Missed this one DW, I didn't receive any such letter. And to answer your other question, yes I'd be happy to meet up with other forum users in the Lounge. Just need to get hold of my ticket allocation.

That's appalling Lincoln - have you contacted the club to see if they can help somehow ?
I'm quite amazed that not one of the previous posters had the empathy to at least remark on your post especially with the disappointment that's all to evident :(
I'm really pleased that we have amazing supporters like you and your dad that obviously go to massive efforts just to even get to games .

Actually I have got my - undated - Letter out to read it again and it says that the Early Bird Offer will be extended to May 9 as we are unsure at this stage of our "Divisional status"
It then goes on to say and I quote " Your commitment, support and loyalty is valued by us all and as a gesture ......" so I am wondering if some people like me got this Letter and Offer because we bought a Season Ticket very early on. Personally I got mine on Penalty Day
So it may be that the above explains why some people did not or have not got such a Letter because the reference to "a gesture" may mean that people who bought early were being given something to reflect their "early buying" whereas those that waited it out did not get this offer
Anybody agree - or putting it a different way has anybody get a Letter with this offer after buying "later" than May 9 ?
-
That was always the case DW.
-
Hi SM
So are you confirming that some people were not entitled to this offer and it WAS a reward for early buyers ?
Cheers DW
-
Yes, that was my understanding at the time.
-
Cheers SM - that will make it clearer for some for sure why they may not have had the offer !
-
I've just arranged to use my free passes for the Grimsby match. Very easy process, just emailed the ticket office saying I had a voucher and wanted to use it if there were any spaces available, they replied saying it was all sorted and to swap my voucher for the passes on the day. Looking forward to it!
Also, these vouchers were definitely only sent to people who bought their season tickets early as a sort of thank you for committing to it even though we ended up getting relegated!
-
Thanks for that update .... useful for the rest who have yet to "partake"
-
FAO Lincoln Rover
I've occasionally upgraded myself and bought a couple of tickets for the lounge. It's a great way to watch football. Get there early and enjoy a decent drink and warmth.
I have taken my ancient father, and found it very easy with the lift.
Didn't use a wheelchair but I'm sure Gavin could arrange for a wheelchair to go out on the "balcony". Or share a box.
Go for it and enjoy yourselves.
Ring up the Commercial Team who run the area.

We went a few weeks ago, be prepared for your name not to actually be on the list when you get there.....!! They let us in okay, but the organisation left a lot to be desired.
