Title: A Day of FA CUP firsts
Post by: Guernsey Exile on August 20, 2016, 10:31:33 am
Today sees the FA CUP in the channel Islands for the first time.

also the first ever FA CUP match to ever take place outside of mainland UK.

Guernsey V Thamesmead in the preliminary Round.

It's also the most southerly FA CUP game in the competitions history

:-)

Have Newport (IOW) never played a home match in the FA Cup then?

I assume this means from the first round proper and not including preliminary rounds.
