Anyone who is a fan of The Associates and the brilliant Billy McKenzie will appreciate these.

Sorry, but the 'singing' on Party Fears Two has always been like fingernails down a blackboard to me.

Each to his own. Personally I thought Billy McKenzie was a unique talent. A truly tortured genius. I suppose it was always going to end the way it did.
Sadly I can no longer find the vid of him and "Professor" Martha Ladly larking about on TOTP (18 Carat Love Affair). It also featured the chocolate guitar.

Billy McKenzies voice was a thing of beauty. This one is gentler pop from a year or two later but it still sends shivers down my spine.

And then this one, where he slides into being a 5 octave Thatcher-era Scottish Kurt Weil.

Mmmm Martha Ladly, always had a thing for her, great performance. She's now a professor in Canada. Perhaps She could form a supergroup with Prof Brian Cox.
She was a Martha (there were 2 )from Martha and the Muffins if you didn't know.
