Hi guys, as well as Rovers my little lad loves Real MAdrid.
We haven't had a holiday abroad as a family so were looking at a winter get away to Spain. Whats the best way to get match tickets?
Thank you in advance

Internet I would've thought:-
http://www.realmadrid.com/en/tickets
Spain in winter though... bit grim.
-
Thank Jonny
I have seen that website but can only seem to access the very expensive seats
-
Viagogo's probably the easiest way, depending on the game you can get them from £40-60.

On the upside though Madrid IS just a brilliant place to go ! The Ground is huge and mega impressive.
I do prefer Barcelona to "do" them at Football though

Me too but the little un loves MAdrid

I once went to a Real Madrid home game when i was over there on a golf trip.
Fantastic stadium and well worth a visit.
-
thanks drfc...how did you get tickets?
-
I didn't.
The sales director of the company who took us got four so it was a freebie for me.
However if you can't get match tickets try the stadium tour which is also we'll worth it.

Some work colleagues of mine went a couple of years ago.. if the opposition isn't Barcelona or a Madrid team then there should be tickets available..

I went a few years back and just bought tickets from the ground the day before the game. 40 euros each for a match against Levante. As said above if it's not against Barca or Atletico you'll more than likely get tickets. One thing to be aware of is that in Spain games get rearranged for TV at really late notice, so even if it says it will be a Saturday kick off in reality it can be any day from Friday to Monday, so make sure you're there the whole weekend.
Madrid is an awesome city, one of the best places I've ever been. Done it 3 times now and seen Real, Atletico and Rayo Vallecano, all were around the same price. Make sure you visit the Retiro park in the centre of the city, and the area around the Plaza Mayor is really cool too.

Thing to watch out for it when they announce the date of the matches. If you are booking flights well in advance you might need to make sure you. One back on a Monday. When we were there they played at 9.00pm on Sunday night.
Tickets for non Barca or Athletico games easy to get the day before.

They have an Official Online Ticket service and you can buy for many Matched in advance AND if I read it right actually print your own Tickets off once you have paid up !

Guys.
Thank you all for your advice. I really appreciate it. Would love to go to a match whilst we are there. Will probably pick a time around the kids holidays.
