W21 / D7 / L18
The last game against the U's resulted in a loss for the Rovers, but that was on the back of 5 straight wins v Colchester, who currently sit 13th in L2, having W4, D4, L4.
:scarf:

Our home record against Colchester is:

We've twice lost 1-4.

Why would they put him in the back of a car... frightened of getting mobbed by his fans ?.
seriously, has anyone heard what the extent of his injury is ...
Come on Rovers !!!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Out for three months is the word on the street here.
-
Watched Colchester v newport highlights earlier. The U's look quite useful going forward but also look very vunerable at the back. Won't be an easy game. But let's get in to 'em.
-
Exciting stuff.
-
Anything happened on the pitch ?
-
Get in,one of the best times to score, just before half-time whistle. :clapping:
-
Goooooal
-
YYYYEEEESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rowey :aok:
-
Gerrin!
-
Thank god for that goal. Sounds like a dire match from our point of view.
-
Rowe took it well, but we don't deserve to be in front at HT. Come on DF, get em revved up for second half.
Marosi has made some fantastic saves (yet again) to keep us in it.
-
Fortunate to be winning by the sound of the performance but can we up the game second half ...
-
Agreed. Their keeper has had the deck chair out and has been catching a few Indian summer rays. Not had a save to make then has to pick the ball out of the net just when he's looking forward to a half time cuppa. Poor sod.
;)
-
Scrappy game, one or two good saves from Marosi.. our ideas have been good but not quite executed well enough..
Still battling away and ahead again when not at our best. I expect fergie will rip into them at half time..
-
DF's been ripping Evina a new one all of the first 45 minutes so hopefully he'll come out a bit more motivated!!
-
Afternoon everyone, good time to join the game.
-
Looks like Rowe may be injured
-
Oh dear. Player says 'Colchester are growing in confidence"........
BobG
-
Good time to score another one then.
Come on Rovers :scarf:
-
Looks like Rowe may be injured
Looked tactical to me?
-
A tactical injury ;)
-
It sounds like Colchester are going to get one..... Player comments about Rovers: hesitancy, not fluid, not making the most of..., having a tiff, Colchester far from out of the game, and so on and so on....
So, we are about to score then :)
BobG
-
Winning these types of games will see us promoted.
-
If we carry on like this then they'll end up getting one back!!
-
Marquis getting increasingly isolated... Wave after wave from the Essex side, not sticking, Calder giving silly free kicks away, real test of character...
We're doomed ah tell thee...
Bob
-
bugger.
-
Marquis wastes a super chance..
-
Looks like Rowe may be injured
Looked tactical to me?
He took a knock about two mins before and signalled to the bench
-
Oh ok didn't see that..
-
Why can't we play in the second half?
BobG
-
Marquis should have put the game to bed..
-
We're getting away with murder here...
-
Will settle for 1-0.
Don't blow it now lads !
-
I'm getting too old. I can't cope with this.....
BobG
-
Pompey beating Plymouth.
-
:scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: great final whistle :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
-
That'll do.
-
Thank F**k for that
-
Yes. Vital three points there.
-
Lol. Exeter have put 4 past Barnet!
Bob
-
Nice one, MUST do better though.
-
Still playing on my feed. HAve we won?
-
Thank f**k!
6/10 performance today but a very welcome 3 points..
-
Plymouth equalise. Boo.
-
Might be a better result over the full season PDX,Pompey drop 2 points.
-
Plymouth equalise. Boo.
Disagree, draw is best result - both teams drop 2 points
-
:scarf:
Sounds like a dire game
But need to get 3 points from these.
Well done lads!
-
Let's just see what we can do in our own games?
-
Looks like it was a an exciting finish at Accrington v Blackpool,Stanley equalising with pen 1 minute to go and then getting a winner in injury time.
-
Yes. I guess Pompey and Plymouth drawing is best over the season.
-
Well we got away with that, to win and not play well is a bonus. Onwards and upwards
COYR
-
To come out of the last 3 tough games with 9 points, a great achievement, is beginning to look like a mentally strong side, rather different from last season
-
Marquis should have put the game to bed..
Copps bust a gut to get up there with Marquis too, a la Brentford, but Marqujs chose to ignore him.
A simple sideways ball would have left Copps with a tap in.
