Our home record against Colchester is:
W15 D4 L4 F36 A22

We've twice lost 1-4.

Highest attendance at the 4th tier v Colchester is 10 799 - in the same 68/69 season as we had 22k at home to Darlo

In both seasons where we played Colchester and won the 4th tier title, we beat Colchester at home.

Why would they put him in the back of a car... frightened of getting mobbed by his fans ?.
seriously, has anyone heard what the extent of his injury is ...
Come on Rovers !!!!!  :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Watched Colchester v newport highlights earlier. The U's look quite useful going forward but also look very vunerable at the back. Won't be an easy game. But let's get in to 'em.

Rowe took it well, but we don't deserve to be in front at HT. Come on DF, get em revved up for second half.

Marosi has made some fantastic saves (yet again) to keep us in it.

Fortunate to be winning by the sound of the performance but can we up the game second half ...

Agreed. Their keeper has had the deck chair out and has been catching a few Indian summer rays. Not had a save to make then has to pick the ball out of the net just when he's looking forward to a half time cuppa. Poor sod.

;)

Scrappy game, one or two good saves from Marosi.. our ideas have been good but not quite executed well enough..

Still battling away and ahead again when not at our best.  I expect fergie will rip into them at half time..

DF's been ripping Evina a new one all of the first 45 minutes so hopefully he'll come out a bit more motivated!!

It sounds like Colchester are going to get one..... Player comments about Rovers: hesitancy, not fluid, not making the most of..., having a tiff, Colchester far from out of the game, and so on and so on....

So, we are about to score then :)

If we carry on like this then they'll end up getting one back!!

Marquis getting increasingly isolated... Wave after wave from the Essex side, not sticking, Calder giving silly free kicks away, real test of character...

We're doomed ah tell thee...

Looks like it was a an exciting finish at Accrington v Blackpool,Stanley equalising with pen 1 minute to go and then getting a winner in injury time.

Yes. I guess Pompey and Plymouth drawing is best over the season.

To come out of the last 3 tough games with 9 points, a great achievement, is beginning to look like a mentally strong side, rather different from last season

Marquis should have put the game to bed..

Copps bust a gut to get up there with Marquis too, a la Brentford, but Marqujs chose to ignore him.
A simple sideways ball would have left Copps with a tap in.
