Title: A630 blocked earlier??
Post by: IDM on October 15, 2016, 09:59:49 pm
Earlier tonight the A630 was blocked for best part of an hour from Balby towards town - I could see loads of blue lights in the distance ahead, and a couple of emergency vehicles squeezed between the two lanes of static traffic.

Anyone know what it was?  I looked on AA roadwatch whilst static but got no info..

I passed on foot at 7.30 and the road was taped off 60yds either side of the pedestrian crossing in front of Westfield Park.
Their was a damaged car town side of the crossing and what looked like first aid waste in the middle of the road about 30yds down from the crossing.
At a guess i would say someone is in a bad way in Hospital at best.

Hopefully not too bad, but you never know :(..  The police were saying they didn't know how long the road would be closed, at the time...
