A double "whammy"
Anyone on here had such a Roof fitted to their Conservatory, Supposedly keeps it cooler in Summer and warmer in Winter. I have such a Conservatory but am sceptical whether these would make a huge difference.
I can see that advertising wise it could be true if after fitting the Temp in Winter rose from 9c to 9.5c and in summer it went down from 30c to 29.5c BUT are they better than that ?
Also has anybody got a SunTunnel(s) which harness "day light" and send it via a Tube into windowless areas or low light areas in their property. If yes do they work and if yes can you recommend an installer please
Cheers DW

Hi Donny Wolf we have got a suntunnel and yes they work brilliantly and we have comments from many people about how good it is, unfortunately it was already there when we moved into the house so unsure of who built it.

Hi rtid88
Thanks for that. I am heartened that yours seems to work and I am having a measure up today to see what I can have fitted and where.
Apparently they are fitted "quite easily" by anybody with a reasonable DIT ability but that rules me out so will go for a competent Roofing Co.
Cheers again

Ayup again Wolfie.
We had a lowered ceiling fitted in ours.
Keeps it cooler in summer and makes it somewhat warmer in winter.
Not perfect but much improved.
Cost about £600.

Do conservatories still exist these days? Thought they had died out in the 90s!
-
Yes they died out a bit as they need a couple of Acres to allow you to build a decent one  - and these days the fashion is to fit as many houses on a small plot as you can (See Belle Vue) leaving no room even for a (small) shed ;) ;)
