.....Well he actually shit himself :turd: and ran from the stage, when he thought he was about to assassinated .
Not bad for someone who advocates for the freedom of guns . :)

I feel like I've missed something...

Reports say he was speechless following the incident. It was the first time in history that people appreciated a silent Trump.

Something doesn't quite smell right with this story...
-
There certainly seems to be a low key approach to the story. Events like that are usually followed through in the press.

True, they are only halfarted attempts at humour.

That one reminds me of a few years back when someone did actually name their racehorse 'Hoof-hearted'. I remember the commentators being embarrassed.

I remember that one DU..
Which nicely brings us back to the thread topic, as Trump is a horse's arse!!

Turns out the guy in the crowd was carrying.... a sign  It read, "Republicans against Trump".

It's almost nailed on she's going to lose. And the right wing candidate in Holland is showing well too, as is the Austrian. Marine le Pen looks like she's going to get through at least the first round next year too. We're having a cyclical thing. it'll swing back - if we're still alive - but it'll take either a mega disaster by Trump, or 15 to 20 years. Another reason why the Labour Party hasn't much hope of winning anything any time soon.

I think the similarity between the Brexit and the US result was down to the same reason. The majority of people took the simplistic view that if you've got nothing in the first place you've got nothing to lose by voting for radical change.
Who knows, it might be a radical change for the good, for them.

Seems not many fairly well off ppl voted for Trump and amazingly there were many here too. I doubtw that very much that Germany will follow suit or indeed France . The EU is safe for now whist Russia is nibbling at the edges.
Personally hated Brexit which I think will be watered down as to appear a waste of time and Trump will not last the full term .

Loved the letter in today's Daily Telegraph which suggested the American people had followed Mae West's advice - 'when I have to choose between two evils I usually go for the one I haven't tried before'.

And it begins...
