Apologies if most people have seen this but I enjoyed it and thought it worthy of sharing. It is a short news report on the FA Cup first round tie away at Sutton Coldfield from November 1980. I'm sure there will be some people on here who remember the game.
The pitch is fantastic, a 'proper' pitch that is already a bit of a mess (it's only November so who knows what it would have been like by February).

I was at that one. Tea/coffee served by the local boys brigade and a great pile of gravel behind a goal was used as a make shift stand for us.

Love these videos RM, keep them coming.
I believe I was shown this clip a bit back but I can't for the life of me remember where or by whom, I have to echo your love of that green away kit, splendid stuff! My dad and grandparents lived next door to goalkeeper Willie Boyd at the time, heard a lot about that side of the early 80's under Bremner.

I posted that vid a few months ago, but brilliant to see it again!!!!

Sorry Craig, I hadn't seen it until I stumbled across it recently.
I do like that shirt though, green always seems like our away colour. Wonder what the chances of finding one of those on eBay are?

I have the 83/84 green away shirt with CIL printed on the front, certainly one of my fav ever Rovers shirts!

I wonder if anyone has ever invited Alan Warboys back for a bit of tlc, love and a match?

As we got to Sutton I stopped the car to ask a youth for directions to the ground, he said are you from Doncaster? I replied with a yes so he said then no, I'm not telling you.
