I wonder if they are now regretting their move to weeds.
We have blooded a number of their one time team mates in the first team since they left us,have they progressed at weeds or stagnated?
I hope they do O.K.but at times bad advice does a young player no good at all,and I cant help thinking that a little more patience, and less parental influence, would have done their careers more good than harm.
At the end of the day it is down to being good enough, and the right attitude, and a little luck, sometimes being a big fish in a small pool is the better option.
They looked to have it in front of them at the Rovers, have the sunk or are they swimming in the bigger pool at weeds?

No doubt that they would have got a chance in the first team under Ferguson. With the injuries we had at start of the season and more recently up front as well.

Both involved in the Under-23 game on Monday although Jack was only on the bench.

Jason Blunt (Rovers 2002-03) is in charge of the team.
Billy Whitehouse is now being used as a right back / right wing back. Interesting that one of the reasons Fergie let him go is because as a winger he wouldn't fit into our systems.

Perhaps their move was predicated by the desire to reduce their father's influence at DRFC.

The only way a pig get's by Paddy Kenny in a passage, is if there is a convenient storm drain just waiting to be jumped into.
