Did it hit the woodwork, bounce back onto the player and then go in?
As a striker I always claimed those.

That is how it looks to me.
I will be surprised if JM gets that one.

the one that Butler got the keeper got a touch so does that mean that was a own goal.  yes it came off the keeper but he dint know anything

I think the rule is if it is going in when the keeper touches it then it goes down as the attacking player's goal.  If it isnt going in without touching the keeper, then its an OG

Got to refer this to the dodgy own goal panel. Marquis goal all day long. Looked like it was over the line before keeper clawed it back on to the woodwork!

Clearly see it went "in" off keepers back having hit him coming back off the bar.

It went in of the keeper in the process of attempting to stop it going in.  If the keeper didn't intervene it's a goal anyway.  Never an OG.

The EFL's round up credits it to Marquis.

So do both our official site and Stevenage's.

Technically it's an OG but in the spirit of the game it should be given to Marquis. Do they have a dubious goals panel for this type of thing? They should do.

The fact is the ball has bounced back off the keeper in the same motion of play. He has no choice in getting out of the way. We've similar goals in the past where the keeper has stood there dumbfounded but could have made a movement away from the ball. That's different.

If it hit the bar first then went in off the keeper, which it appears to, it's not even counted as an attempt on target

I'd recommend having another look. Their keeper clearly saves it.

Looks to me like their keeper saves it onto the woodwork, then back off him it goes into the net. That means it's an O.G.

Doesn't massively matter, it's the winner either way!
