scores for L INCOLN
-
Nice lad Theo.
To put his Rovers record in some perspective (I know it's a hardy perennial on here), Liam Mandeville has currently scored the same amount of goals for rovers as he did, but he's done it in only 1/3rd the number of appearances.

Scored again! Lincoln winning 3-0

Not worth a punt

Well done The Imps!

No. Billy McKay.

Ex Inverness had a good scoring record in Scotland.

Well as one of the several Rovers fans who live over in Lincolnshire, I thought I'd give you my take on Theo and the Imps ( no not a new boy band).
He's only on a short term contract ( Jan ), he's not been playing much and his form in front of goal is very sketchy.
He can't get in the normal starting eleven as he consistently blows his lines in games, with fans calling for Matt Rhead ( a poor mans Chris Brown up front) along with any other young striker with him.
The Imps have gone from two days training to a week to five, with Jamie McCombe at best being a peripheral player. New manager Danny Cowley has made the club vey much a focal point for the community in terms of getting out and promoting them.
A exiled South African fan has given the club £1 million over three years to sort them out as they were in dire straits.
Watch out for Luke Waterfall at centre half as one for the future along with Paul Farman the goalie. Donny have been taking more than a passing interest in this lad with regular visits to Sincil Bank.

I was at the bank last night with a group of work mates - who are Lincoln fans. The place was rocking and Lincoln played well in the first half - Rhead was a handful, although he's built more like Akinfenwa than Chris Brown...
Theo scored the first with his shoulder and missed another one on one chance at the end of the half. He got his second at the start of the second half, but was knackered about 15 from the end and got taken off. He is still very much hit and miss, but I think he'll get extended until the end of the season at least...
I'd like to see the Imps go up - they are a good club who have a good fan base and a good management team - many fans are worried that they may not be able to hold onto the Cowley's...
-
Theo usually starts his time with his new club with a few goals then can't score for toffee after that.
-
Did he play internationally for Jamaica?
-
Yes he did.
-
Keep him on a game to game contract because once he get's the security of a contract he relaxes back and does nothing. He has the ability but he seems to me to have very fragile confidence and lacks drive to get the best from himself.
-
You think he has fragile confidence yet you're advocating a "play shit once and you're out of a job" kind of deal?
-
No player would ever sign a game to game contract. They want security.
-
You think he has fragile confidence yet you're advocating a "play shit once and you're out of a job" kind of deal?
Yeah, a gun to the head of a guy with no confidence sounds a bit daft.

No a pay as you play deal, not get rid of him with one good game. Eventually if he's still doing it for you, you give him a seasons contract. To offer him more than that would be pure stupidity.
-
Ah yes "play well or you won't be getting a game and getting paid". Much better.
