What do you think will happen to Mandeville? Will he stay at rovers for years to come? Will a big club make an offer for him that we can't refuse? What are your thoughts? :rtid:
-
Don't you know he's crap and it's not worth any scout bothering to turn up and watch him.
Don't mention the subject again!!
-
Really? Check out how many goals he has scored this season.
-
At the moment he is one of our best players and he won the league two player of the month. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Diversionary tactic?
I don't think he is ready for a big move yet.. needs another year or two IMHO..
-
But will he go then? (After the one or two years).
-
Hopefully not.
-
Think it's 2 early to tell, he obviously has a lot of talent at this level, just needs to work hard and keep scoring
-
He'd be daft to go anywhere soon, he should stay and develop at the Rovers. Then in a few years if a big club comes in for him, then he should go

He's currently good at this level and would be wise sticking to us for this season and next *if* we are promoted.
-
Hopefully he won't go.
-
I think he's bloody good.
Best prospect we have had for ages
I'm trying to stop you lot tipping off bigger clubs.

Aren't you the guy who said he was crap?
-
Hmmmm sarcasm and diversionary spring to mind
-
I reckon he will go to whoever offers him the most money.
-
Only just realised what: "trying to stop you guys tipping off other clubs meant".
Sorry.
-
Hopefully not
-
I rate him and but he's nowhere near ready for a higher level yet so his progress would stop if he moved. Longbottom will be the better of the two though for me.
-
I agree with you that he shouldn't be thinking about moving. However I've not seen enough of Longbottom to be able to say that. He's promising, there's no doubt about that.
-
Mandeville really needs this season in our squad and it wouldn't do him any harm to stay with us next year. It would all depend on what the offer is and who made it.
Most young English kids get stockpiled just so they have the percentage of homegrown players. With us he is valued and he is progressing due to his ability and work put in and our clubs training.
-
He'll know he's not the finished article. He seems a humble lad and I'm sure he'll understand his best chance is to stay with DF for sometime yet.
Progressing with us where he's appreciated is much better than being a smaller fish in a bigger pond where it can be very lonely.

I thought my first post was an obvious piss take, hence my second post after you had failed to see the irony.

Yeah sorry.

Yeah sorry.
No harm done
We are all on the same side

He could say with us for years as we rise up the leagues ala copps and become a legend if he wanted to
