I think you are right . Will you be able to come over from Bucharest to see us lift the trophy ?

Sadly, no. I managed to have the money that I think I need to live there 2-3 months, but I have to wait the entire april to see what is with Brexit. And if it will still be okay, then at the end of may/beginning of june, I'll come there.
To spend a few days there, as a holiday, to see the last match at home it would be expensive for me. Only the plane it will cost 200 euros with the return in Bucharest (and my wage here is 350 euro/month )
-
I'll be at the game today but won't be updating the lucky pint thread too much. That's because with no other fixtures I won't be checking for the other scores every 5 minutes!
Folks who can will be watching on TV, so I guess the thread may be quite. I might pop on at half time though..
We need 2 more wins to guarantee promotion, probably less assuming teams like Stevenage and Luton can't win all their remaining games. With the match today, then Grimsby away starting earlier than the rest of the fixtures, we could be promoted before Stevenage and Luton etc next kick a ball!!!
-
Has it started yet? :cold:
-
Good morning everyone! This the big, big, big game. 3 points will take us on the brink of promotion, and make the title clearly in our favour.
-
Not nice when players try to kid the ref for a pen ,even if it's one of your own players.
Looks like a good crowd
-
Rowe could have stayed on his feet and got a shot off. Poor decision to go down.
-
Don't understand why some players go down before contact.Keep going if contact, then go down easily if you want, but it annoys me when they start bending foot back before any contact is due.
-
Lucky not to get a yellow.
-
So far so good ,Plymouth from free kicks worry me for some reason

Yep.just told me son,I think their biggest threat will be from set pieces.
-

Obvious dive. Nobody around me agreed with me at the time though. Good old south stand.
-
Great minds think alike eh
Was that the mothers of the players that came out along side of the rovers players before the game,or was they from mothers R US
-
What a good save by the pilgrims keeper
-
Better team so far. Marquis unlucky with that header.
-
Amazing save by McCormick. Not sure how he reacted enough to push that away.
-
What a good save by the pilgrims keeper
Impressive, sign him up
-
Keep the pressure on them, a goal will come.
-
How is that ball not going in? When the damn breaks we'll flood that net I'm sure :boxing:
-
Much the better team first half. Played some lovely stuff. Could have been 2 or 3 up. Plymouth only really threatened from a couple of set pieces. Just keep doing what we are doing and surely the goals will come. Entertaining game.
-
Copps almost caught that strike too cleanly. Hit it into the ground and it goes in.
-
We have had a couple of snap chances that some fans think were good saves, but looking again they were straight at him.. Marquis' header goes 18 inches wider and it's in..
-
And Copps' blind flick with his back to goal - that falls to Marquis to volley in and it would be goal of the season.. that's a 36 year old 4th division player too!!
-
Rovers don't need the win as much as Plymouth do in this game ,hence a draw still keeps the pilgrims at a good arms length away from us.
-
The chance from grant was a good save though..
-
What's the crowd today 7,000 and maybe a tad more
-
For those (like me) who are not today at the stadium

Yes, there a great saves and there is just being in the way.
-
Some fair comments from the Argyle forum:
Right now there's a league 1 team out there and there's a league 2 team
Take a 0-0 Draw right Now !
Phewwwwww great to be 0 - 0 halftime, but we cannot push our luck to much more - we need some rest for our defenders. Great saves from Luke and great blocking.
A blinding save from our keeper and a great block on the line. Great defending is part of the game as well as great attacking. Good half Greens. Spencer getting pilloried when he is living on scraps. Standard first half away performance by the sounds of it.
A good defensive display. We are still in the game and it's set up for us to have a right go for the winner in the last 15 minutes.
HT, flat atmosphere here. We're sitting off too much, sometimes it works but not to this extent.
A real backs to the wall display so far. Maybe a break away goal to sneak the win 2nd half. Doncaster are showing why they're top of the league. COYG
I haven't been to any away games this season but from reading many reports, this does appear to be our standard away performance before getting stronger and pinching a goal later on.
I accept Doncaster at home and are a very good side. We just don't even have a foot hold in the game.
To be fair to Donny fans, the abuse of McCormick is hopefully more down to his controversial role in our Home Park win than anything more vile. Realistically, it's probably a mix of the two :(
-
1-0 for Plymouth :(
-
b*llocks. Set piece. That's all they have. Come on Rovers. We're too good for these.
-
I did warn about plymouths set play work
-
oh dear, now for the comeback.
-
and now they will play only counter-attacks...they were so close to score the 2nd goal
Alcock off, McCullough in
-
Tactic change may switch it. Can see Luke getting stuck in :boxing:
-
Useless ref. May is getting manhandled and fouls given against him.
-
Come on you Reds...
-
Them in green/ black do look solid at the back in this second half somewhat
-
time for Andy Williams to come on ?
-
So close Coppinger
-
1st game I watched since Pompy in Jan, May out of his depth. Just my opinion
-
Commentary being to piss me off with its increasingly pro Plymouth slant
-
They had one chance and scored, we had a number of chances and didn't score. We need to be more ruthless and clinical in-front of goal, otherwise, our unbeaten home record will be gone.

The last chance from Coppinger was a big one...that should have been a goal
-
Perhaps McSheffrey needs to come on?
-
time for Andy Williams to come on ?
Fergie got my message
-
We're still much the better team. It will come.
-
I just hope its not one of those games we do everything but score.
-
Honestly if this is what you all have been watching in league two this season I aint jealous
-
Sadly I didn't saw anybody trying to shoot from distance, from outside the box...
-
Yes, McSheffs is on, see if he can lift the team and help us get some goals.
-
It's a big if I. Last 10 mins ,but should rovers make it 1-1 we will be all over them untill final whistle I guess
-

if Rovers got a last minute penalty could se McSheffs taking it

Agree.
-
We still have time to turn this game around. What Exeter did yesterday, we can do today.
-
pff, what a chance :(
-
How much added time ?
-
Not that arsed about us losing to Plymouth. More gutted to lose the home record.
-
How much added time ?
3 minutes, but the match ended
-
How much added time ?
Not enough obviously grrrrrrrr !
-
Plymouth defended very well and took their chance. We were much the better team. We move on.
-
Disappointing, we should at least got a draw, a win would have been fair based on possession and number of chances.
Pick up ourselves and go and get a win at Grimsby.
-
It was bad luck. I saw some big chances, but not every time the best team wins the match.
-
Unlucky today, a few great chances good saves. They score with their only decent effort..
Nowt to worry about, promotion party vs Mansfield!!
-
We were shite, they were shite but can head the ball. game over
-

You say the better team, but good teams score goals from their numerous chances. Very frustrating, but as you say, we move on.
-
True. That's how it goes sometimes isn't it?

Steve Evans will be delighted about that, his Boston gave us a guard of honour the last time we were promoted from Lg 2/Div 3.
