Congratulations to all concerned. Sounded like they were a bit flat and nervous today but job done. Yet another great day to be a Rovers fan. Still got a few tough games but hopefully Fergie will keep them focused until we win the title.
Bring on League One.

Yep we have finally got the 'P' with 5 to go. Great day Rovers not the best spectacle of football today but we got the required result. Next stop the League 2 title. :rtid:
-
Just need to snag the title now.
Today was a title-winning performance. Not impressive or flashy but ground out a result against a well-organised side. Those are the games that win you titles.
By the way, what was Blair's goal disallowed for? Offside player blocking the keeper's view, a foul, or what?
-
Cos the lino was just a t**t and wanted to try to spoil our party 😂
-
The ball had hit the back of the net before flag went up
-
It was for a foul. The Lino was signalling that it was a pull.. not offside..
-
The lino needs to learn what a foul throw is

Congratulations from a Pompey fan. After 4 years in this league, I know how hard it can be to get out, so full credit for bouncing back at the first attempt.
-
Thanks Chave. I'm sure that you will be following us soon.
Good luck for next Friday as well
-
Good Luck from me too Chave. Do them Tossers next week and good luck for rest of this term
-
After the last 4 games where they've done a number on us, I'm not expecting much, but fingers crossed we do you a favour!
-
Time for a change then. Get the first goal and they will start panicking.
They are very one dimensional and don't score many.
Mind you Colchester will be buzzing after today and were unlucky against us here so that will be interesting.

Thanks Chave, credit due to you.
Great achievement by the Rovers bouncing straight back after the disaster of relegation last season. And credit to Darren Ferguson for building and shaping a squad which has been entertaining to watch and is without doubt the best team in this league.
But I would like to give the biggest praise to the owners of our club. They have not been high profile, they have not sought to grab any limelight, but they stuck by the manager after last year's relegation and they gave him the funds to bring in the players he wanted.
Our promotion is down to them, and I give them my heartfelt thanks.

Couldn't have put it better myself!!

maximum of 8 points needed for the title.

The manager has found a solution to every problem that has come up so far because it hasn't been straight forward with the injuries but the biggest compliment is he has almost make it seem as though we had our best side out every game with no injuries.
We have the makings of a decent side forget about consolidation build on what we have done so far and sign players that can get us promoted again.
It was a typical end of season game today and we did what we had to it's important now that we make sure we go up as champions. Ferguson will want his first title anyway so there will be no slacking. Now he can start on recruiting players for next season it gives us an advantage on others.

....starting with Grant.

........and an extension on JM's contract to fend off suitors.

My thoughts entirely, fantastic achievement after last season, massive well done to the board, management & players. Let's hope the players can finish it now & give Fergie that first title he so richly deserves.
