Stat Attack
W22/D7/L18
Apart from the 4-1 hammering last season (Gary McSheffrey scoring the only Rovers goal), we have actually won 6 out of the last 7, and only lost twice in the last 10 games, against Colchester.
Colchester currently sit 10th, just 2 points outside the play-offs. Their form is inconsistent, however, losing 3 and winning 3 of the last 6 games and if the same pattern is set to continue, Rovers will win this one.

-
Marko Marosi and Louis Jones the goalkeepers out training. No Ian Lawlor #drfc
Not a good start to the day
COYR
-
ROVERS XI | Marosi, Alcock, Blair, Baudry, Mason, Butler (c), McCullough, Rowe, Grant, McSheffrey, Marquis.
ROVERS SUBS | Jones, Wright, Middleton, Beestin, Longbottom, May, Taylor-Sinclair
No Lawlor or Williams today, injured? Copps doesn't make the bench either
COYR
-
Surprised May not starting with no Williams.
At least we have Marosi to step straight in.
-
Some pretty good depth in the squad! Be good to see Beestin get a run out if we are comfortable. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Groin strain Lawlor I think.

Groin strain Lawlor I think.
Too much celebrating promotion with his mrs?

Plymouth 1 up
-
Good morning everyone. Hoping for another 3 points towards the Title.
-
Rovers currently warm-up up with a back four of Blair, Baudry, Butler and Alcock. Have known them still go with 5 after doing that #drfc

What's with Williams absence? If he's not injured that would be quite a kick in the pants.

3 to 1 this morning for a Colchester win I was itching to put money on but just couldn't bet a against rovers never have never will
-
Where is the fight in our side? We've been 1 down before and gone on to win the game.
-
Plenty of time. No need to panic. We at least have a manager who can read games and make adjustments.
-
Sounds like we need to get off the bus first.....
-
We've yet to have a shot, their keeper might as well be in the pub sipping a cold beer.

Fergi's cunning plan , throw this game then hit Blackpool all guns blazing on Monday. :-)

33 | Unreal defending from Eastman to deny what looked to be a certain goal for hot shot Marquis, clearing off the line (1-0) #ColU
COYR
-
Marquis just had one cleared off the line.
-
Looks like DF was wanting a containment job to start with. Now got to hold on to the 1-0 until he introduces plan b. (May)
Commentators says Rovers can step up a gear yet. Only trouble is that gear isn't in the squad today.

John Marquis hooks wide under pressure as he meets a Conor Grant cross #colu 1 #drfc 0

Champion timing for that equaliser, but still too many players with wet hair? I've a feeling the half time chat might sort that.
Meanwhile at Pompey, Plymouth's Oscar Threlkeld has some top rate hair holding product
-
Poor old Luke :turd:
-
Timing is immaculate!
-
Awesome 2 goals, let's have more for us and pompey
-
Pompey score too.
Horrible mistake from McCormack.... That's a Shame
-
:scarf:
A good minute for us there.
-
Great time to score, deflates them, elates us.
-
Hairdryer might get turned down from a 3 to a 2.
Back to 6 points clear.

York City 2-1 up at TRB's local side, Solihull Moors.

I'd be amazed if there wasn't some sort of change at half time for Rovers. Either personnel or system #colu 1 #drfc 1

Aaron Taylor-Sinclair is coming on. #colu 1 #drfc 1
-
ATS replaces Mathieu Baudry
-
Baudry off ??? ... I bet he's a bit narked if he's not injured.
-
ATS on. Frenchie off.
-
That has to be injury precaution.
-
That's a concern if he was ok up to heading the ball in to the net with his last touch!
A tough introduction for ATS.
-
"Grant hovering on the edge of the penalty area" - those are some footie boots.

Player down?

Player stopped working for me

Working fine here in Spain

Alfie misses 1-on-1
-
Orient winning 2-1 at Luton!!!!!!!!!!!!
And Standa, whereabouts in the world might you be right now? Transcaucasia? Timbuctoo? Vale of York?
Cheers!
BobG
-
Rowe on several occasions this season takes too long to get a shot off.
Bloody hell Alfie!
-
Stage fright, maybe.
-
And Standa, whereabouts in the world might you be right now? Transcaucasia? Timbuctoo? Vale of York?
Cheers!
BobG
Bolivia :) Vale of York would be better!
-
We can still win this, Marquis goal maybe?
-
Lol! La Paz? Or out in the sticks? Or are you a major drug baron these days in Medellin?
Bob
-
could do with it been mason for my bet :-)
-
We need 7 points for the title now as it stands (6 with our superior goal difference), as they can only get to a maximum of 91 points. If we win then we only need 5 points (4 with GD on our side).
-
Phew
-
Lol! La Paz? Or out in the sticks? Or are you a major drug baron these days in Medellin?
Bob
Few hours outside La Paz, little town down towards the jungle with more oxygen, waiting for the missus to wake up so we can go and watch the Easter parades round the plaza then get hammered with the locals in proper Bolivian style - Rovers win would add to the party! Coca exploits strictly limited to chewing the leaves. :) Hope you're going good, still in S.West?
-
Sounds like we're not far away from winning this doesn't it?
Bob
-
Yep. Same place mate. Working in Bristol at the moment. Had a few trips to East Africa. I could live out there. Very pleasant. Got son problems though...
Bob
-
5 minutes added! come on you redzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
I'm starting to quiver though.....
Bob
-
Another goal in added time would be nice!

Torquay winning at Lincoln! York still ahead at Solihull.
Bob

Can't see it happening. :(

Lincoln 2-1 up

Bob
Switch to the leaves, far more mellow ;)
-
Crikey. Lincoln must have got 2 in double quick time then.
And leaves - I've never tried them. In fact I've never even seen a coca leaf. Wouldn't know what it looks like.
Bob
-
Game over
-
All over. As you were gents.
-
That will do nicely ...
-
Can't win the Title on Monday.
-
No, but we are still 6 points clear with 4 left to play..
A draw is a decent result today..
-
I'm starting to quiver though.....
Bob
Switch to the leaves, far more mellow ;)
Turn your teeth green but better for your eyesight. :)
Away point + Pompey-Plymouth draw + one game less to go = good day at the office.
-
Can't win the Title on Monday.
We win Plymouth loss and 88 with our goal difference will be enough
-
Very happy with our point today, especially when seeing the outcome at Portsmouth.
One game less to play and still six points clear.
The title is getting closer.
I hope we have enough players available to play on Monday.
-
Torquay winning at Lincoln! York still ahead at Solihull.
Bob
Lincoln 2-1 up
Great result for York. Very tight at the bottom of NL and more teams dragged into it. Hope they can do it.
-
Mathieu Baudry was brought off at half time because he was rubbish according to Darren Ferguson #drfc
-
man of the match poll now up: http://www.drfc-vsc.co.uk/index.php?topic=261947.0
-
A very good point from a tricky away fixture, and the draw between the two Mouths is a great result too.
We can't win the title on Monday (which is good from a selfish point of view because I miss that match) but we've taken a step closer today.
-
I think if we win and Plymouth lose on Monday the title is ours.
-
Two points per game is very hood going.
Only one team in the division has done that.
I reckon one more win should be good enough for us based on Plymouth getting no more than eight points from their last four games.
-
They face a very difficult home game against Newport on Easter Monday. Newport will be certainly up for it, a win would probably take them out of the bottom two.
