Stat Attack
Rovers have only played Wycombe 4 times previously, losing two and drawing two (1 in the League cup). The reverse fixture in October was a 2-2 draw; Tommy Rowe and John Marquis the scorers, both of whom should be starting today. Matt Bloomfield scored both for Wycombe, and he should also be starting for the opposition.
Already-promoted Rovers are still fighting for the title, with Plymouth now only 3 points behind. Wycombe are in the play-off hunt, currently sitting in 13th position but only 2 points behind 6th! They have only lost 2 of their last 6, and are looking to follow up their 2-0 win over Barnet on Easter Monday.
:scarf:
-
Wycombe haven't had any back-to-back wins so far in 2017 - good omen?
-
Good morning everyone. Hoping for 3 more points towards the Title!
-
Hope you are right les.maybe with different line up to last sat.
-
What time will we get the Rovers Team ?
-
2 ish frenchie and copps there
-
Team today
Lawlor, Alcock, Baudry, Butler, Rowe, Mason, Grant, McCullough, Coppinger, May, Marquis
Subs
Marosi, Wright, ATS, Middleton, Mandeville, McSheffery, longbottom
COYR
-
4 changes. Lawlor, Copps, Butler and luke all back
-
Good strong 1st 11 and good bench
Can't imagine playing against may and marquis for 70 mins then bringing Mandeville on
-
It's nigh on a full strength team, just missing Blair really. I'm feeling good about our chances today, providing the players who have rushed back from injury are up to the task.
I genuinely believe that if we win today it'll be enough to ultimately secure the title. The task for Plymouth gets that little bit tougher and they have a hard game themselves today.
-
We have to figure out how to keep the beast at bay.
-
Hopefully the smoke screen injuries. We know fergie plays games.
They are rested and ready to go!
-
Butler and Baudry against Akinfenwa could be an interesting one today
-
We have to figure out how to keep the beast at bay.
Give him a yard, let him turn then nick it off the fat Kitsons feet.
-
We have to figure out how to keep the beast at bay.
Simple, build a wall that he can't get through, Juve did it in the week against Barca.
-
It's 2017, and we are playing against a team with Barry Richardson on the bench. Amazing.
-
Win today and it's one hand on the trophy :scarf:
-
Think Marosi is a bit unlucky to miss out Not sure that Lawlor is that much better, if at all, for Marosi to be dropped. Biggest thing Lawlor has in his favour is his height and I don't think he uses that to its best use

Would feel very annoyed if were Marosi, finally gets the number 1 spot, gets injured and not given chance to get back in
-
Shit not a good start.
COYR

Bugger

Come on you Reds...
-
Do we want to win this league? Come on Donny!
-
Are we throwing it away so we don't have to pay for the bus parade
-
Right, now to start playing
-
9' Akinfenwa's strong header comes off the underside of the bar, falls for Luke O'Nien to head home from close range 1-0 #DRFC
COYR
-
Just tuned in ... what happened with the goal
-
wow making it hard for ourselves again
-
Rovers have now conceded the first goal in six of the last eight games #chairboys 1 #drfc 0
COYR
-
Just like to come from behind
-
Sounds like we're having plenty of the ball, if we can keep that up and keep all 11 men on the pitch I still fancy us to turn it round over 90 minutes.
-
Just like to come from behind
Donny Dog Style?
-
1-1 yes
-
Get in 1-1 Alfieeee. maaaaaay
COYR
-
Was it an own goal?
-
Yesssssssssss :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
-
We're gonna win 3-1 !
-
yeeeeeeeeees
-
Get in they all count
-
Was it an own goal?
No Alfie's goal
COYR
-
Just like to come from behind
Don't we all!
-
Just to note, their goal came in minute 9 from number 9 O'Nien
-
18' This goal was all about Alfie May. He ran down the right before looping the ball into the bottom far corner 1-1 #dRFC
COYR
-
Awesome, happy for Alfie to get back on the scoresheet. Keep it going now.
-
Come on you Reds...
-
OFF THE POST Lovely turn from Rowe 20 yards out, drills low with his left foot and it hits the outside of the post #chairboys 1 #drfc 1
COYR
-
Buggery. 2-1
-
Shit 2-1
COYR
-
Ffs
-
Sounds like both goals were easily avoidable.
-
FFS ... shit ref
-
Why can't we do things the easy way :-(
-
Ffs again this is getting stupid
-
Free kick from inside Rovers half, Jacobson hits it into box and it falls nicely to O'Nien who volleys in #chairboys 2 #drfc 1
COYR
-
Do we concede from every shot on target we face.
-
Akinfenwa involved again, sounds like we cant deal with him
-
Cant see Fergie been happy at halftime
-
come on!
Rovers ! Rovers ! :scarf: :scarf:
-
Do we concede from every shot on target we face.
We do with lawlor in net
-
Now May off injured, we can't catch a break at the minute.
-
Alfie May off injured McSheffery coming on
COYR
-
Sheffers to score..... Come on you Reds...
-
Gonna struggle now we really need to take our chances could have been clear
-
Alfie May off injured McSheffery coming on
COYR
I like Alfie and so glad he scored but McSheffery is playing for a place next season in my view so could be a blessing!
-
Seem to have another ref who suffers from intermittent blindness!
-
We will win this game.
-
Can't keep blaming ref if we would put ball in net it won't matter
-
Yep, we've missed a few chances so far!
-
Let's hope we see as much of an improvement after half time as we did at Colchester ey!
-
We sound either sloppy or nervous or possibly both at the back
-
As long as we keep 11 layers on the pitch I have belief. Half-time bollocking will sort it
-
Wycombe only had 2 shots on target and have scored 2. We've had 3 on target and scored from a deflected cross.
Looks like some of fergies leaders are on the beach
-
Christ - just looked at the table. Epic collapse by Carlisle eh?
-
Same will be said about us if we don't turn it around
-
Yoooooooooooooooooo redddddddddssssssssssss
-
Hardly, we are still promoted even if we finish the season poorly..
-
And if Carlisle score, they're back up to 6th
-
Same will be said about us if we don't turn it around
PMA required....
-
Exactly, if you can still fill this board with negativity when you gained promotion with 5 games to go then god help you
-
Second half delayed by a kids' penalty shootout taking place in the middle of the pitch. Both teams ready #chairboys 2 #drfc 1
Could you make it up?
COYR
-
Exeter goal. If they can go up then we're taking 3 good away games for me to get to
-
Yes I am happy that we are up but 1 point from 9 if it finished like this is very poor.
-
Yes I am happy that we are up but 1 point from 9 if it finished like this is very poor.
Indeed but that's football, we can't win every week. Nobody does.
-
Today's attendance is 4,587 (820 Away) Thanks for your fantastic support this afternoon.
Good away attendance today
COYR
-
Pompey 2 up.
-

I don't expect to win every week we only needed to win one of these last 3 games OK we may still do it today but it looks like the players can't be arsed
-
Are you there? Are they not trying??
-
If we blow this, it will be rediculous. Doesn't bode well for the good run next season....
-
Ref sounds terrible...
-
Why are they allowed to play basketball!
-
Come on yoooooo redssssssssss
-
We do seem to leak a lot of goals.good job we can score a few.
-
I can't be the only Rovers fan that is ecstatic with such an early promotion for the team.
The championship would be a nice bonus, but league one football for next season has to have been the most important objective.
-
If we blow this, it will be rediculous. Doesn't bode well for the good run next season....
We don't even know the squad for next season so how we finish now is largely irrelevant..
I would rather we won though, of course!
-
Carlisle up to 6th
-

I'd say the majority of fans are delighted. This forum seems to house all of the miseries though, it's been so negative on here the last few weeks to say we're promoted and top of the league.
-
62 Aaron Taylor Sinclair on for Craig Alcock #chairboys 2 #drfc 1
That will cheer some up!
COYR
-
I pretty sure all of us are delighted at going up I know I am the worry is fergie coming out saying we want the title yet we are struggling against average teams
-
ATS for Alcock! They reckon cos he offers more going forward.
-
Err OK fingers crossed
-
I pretty sure all of us are delighted at going up I know I am the worry is fergie coming out saying we want the title yet we are struggling against average teams
Are we? Colchester and Wycombe are both handy sides who are competing for a play-off place to be fair.
Mandeville is imminent apparently.
-
Now Mandeville is coming on for Copps
COYR
-
Never mind Plymouth its Portsmouth I'm worried about I can see them winning all their remaining games, we need that win
-
Oh Mandy! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
-
How can you continually miss handballs? Ridiculous regardless of the score.
-
Glad to see him back
-
Be happier to see him score!!
-
Newport escaping the drop?
-
Never mind Plymouth its Portsmouth I'm worried about I can see them winning all their remaining games, we need that win
Pompey better GD as it stands too.
-
Come on you Reds...
-
It could be that Wycombe have shot their load now, something likely to happen in most of our games as the opposition are so desperate for the result.
-
Never mind Plymouth its Portsmouth I'm worried about I can see them winning all their remaining games, we need that win
Pompey better GD as it stands too.
Pompey now 2.1
-
No changes for them, is their bench that bad?
-
Leyton Orient are heading out of the FL.
-
Just sat here waiting for the inevitable late Plymouth winner. :(
-
Got to keep a high tempo at this ... a point could possibly make all the difference.
-
Just sat here waiting for the inevitable late Plymouth winner. :(
Sssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh!
COYR
-
Who is this ref?
-
Colchester have had 18 shots to 7 against Plymuff..... sounds like they have parked the bus again
-
I don't know but we evidently "only get shit refs" at the moment it seems.
-
Bianca f**knose on Sky.... what a shambles she is...
-
Hartlepool might be down by time we play them!
-
I said it could go to the last game by which time Pompey could be in the mix.
-
We do it the Rovers' way
-
We do it the Rovers' way
Exactly makes it interesting
-
Just makes it a bit more exciting for us in these final few games ey
-
We do it the Rovers' way
:)
-
Exeter winning
-
They get another late pen, how many?
-
Pompey 2-2?
-
Eh? I meant Exeter
-
Bianca f**knose on Sky.... what a shambles she is...
She's ok if you turn sound off.... well you would
-
Let's have it Donny, c'mon
-
Bianca f**knose on Sky.... what a shambles she is...
She's ok if you turn sound off.... well you would
I honestly wouldn't
-
Colchester draw with Muff
-
Plymouth game over 0-0
-
Exeter, 3-1
-
Not too bad a day, even if we lose. Still 2 points clear at least
-
Slight plus to today then, Plymouth failing to win means it's still completely in our hands. We just need to get over that line and if a big crowd can't spur us on to beat Exeter next weekend then we don't deserve to win the title.
-
Come on this is Fergie time!
-
Not too bad a day, even if we lose. Still 2 points clear at least
How on earth can a defeat not be a bad day.. jeez. .
-
Exeter, 3-1
Good result for us as Exeter are virtually guaranteed place in play-offs
-
Not happening! Not played well enough. Powder puff around the penalty area. Referee shocking again!
-
Anyone just see stelling lose his shit on ssn
-
Jeff has lost it on Sky
-
Old Jeff needn't worry I can't see us beating them
-
Jeff has lost it on Sky
Love it.... passion
-
Offered to resign as president!

Awful awful point in the season to lose back to back for the first time
-
Not too bad a day, even if we lose. Still 2 points clear at least
How on earth can a defeat not be a bad day.. jeez. .
Simple maths buddy, could have been far worse
-
Nevermind, we've got a week to get this out of our system once and for all and stuff Exeter to put one hand on that trophy.
-
Awful awful point in the season to lose back to back for the first time
I'd rather leave the losing to after we're promoted :)
-
Poooooooooooooooo! :turd:
-
On a brighter note Leeds are looking like fooking it up again....
-
On a brighter note Leeds are looking like fooking it up again....
Don't see people's obsession with Leeds, couldn't care less how they do.

The same maths that tells us that we can lose top spot for the first time in months next week. Brilliant reasoning!!
-
If we win next week and Plymouth fail to win, we will be champions. Stay calm people!
-
...and eliminate Pompey's charge for the Title.
-
Awful awful point in the season to lose back to back for the first time
It's the best time of the season surely,
A month ago it would've been awful
-
We need 4 points from 2 games to be guaranteed title
-
Man of the match poll now up: https://www.drfc-vsc.co.uk/index.php?topic=262047.0
-
It's entirely possible we could need nil points from those two games.
