What the hell is wrong with us. Is it too much to ask for a straight forward 5-0 win

Long way to go yet. Keep the faith. Time to dig in and show what we have got.

Good morning everyone, we need to dig deep and win this one.
-
21 times this season we've gone behind. keep the faith.
-
Long way to go, but it does seem since we secured promotion we've been a tad shite.

Top of league and we are at home so we play with one up front, makes no sense.
-
Yesssssssz.

Get in
-
Yessssssss ....Copps
-
who scored?
-
get in Copps! 1-1
-
Despite the goal why do I feel so, so nervous? 10 minutes of calm possession and control would suit me fine...
Bob

I'm copp-a-hoop!

The boys are by far good enough,I reckon it's only our nerves that could scupper us today. But I don't think so,we'll win today. :clapping: :clapping:
-
That's Copps getting 10 goals in the season isn't it? That's 5 players who've got 10 or more this season. When was the last time that ever happened?!
BobG
-
sound at lot more at the races now, in control of the game
-
'til Watkins just missed anyway! Lord my heart was in my mouth just then.
Bob

Unlucky Lawlor. Come on Rovers. Two goals needed. Half an hour to get them.
-
Aren't we down to 10 men?
-
Never mind Plymouth, it could well be Pompey's title the way things are going :(
-
Mandeville on for Wright
-
We're going to win this...
-
And Newport losing now meaning that Hartlepools win next week gives them a chance if salvation. We never do things easily do we? Love it.

Tv game??

Plymouth score
-
Well... worse case scenario. We have to go to Hartlepool and win.
-
Balls this up massively, can see us throwing the title away, we've done absolutely nothing since gaining promotion.
-
And it looks like they might well need to win to stay up.....
Gulp. I would not be optimistic.

-
Disgusting.
-
Bizarre this collapse in form. Why?
-
Wonder what odds yiou'd get for Portsmouth as Champions and Hartlepool staying up?!
Bob
-
f**k off
-
Dreadful. Fergie should take a long hard look at the last few games because the blame lies with him.
-
f**k off 1-3
-
oh dear Rovers
-
Oh deep joy.
Bob
-
f**kING RUBBISH!
Biggest bottlers ever
-
We've played a run of games against decent teams. It's not surprising we've come a bit unstuck, but the timing is somewhat unfortunate.
-
Alcock pissing about on the ball.
-
The worst thing about all of this is that idiot in charge of Plymouth is going to look like a mind games playing genius
-
His team selections and tactics have been questionable. I don't believe for a minute we had the injuries he claimed.
-
Title would be nice, but we're still promoted. I'm still going to celebrate next week, no matter where we finish
-
need the cod heads to do us a favour next week
-
Bottlers of the highest order. :headbang: :headbang:
-
Personally I couldn't care less about the title. When we won at Brentford I wasn't thinking about finishing top, it was all about getting promoted.
Our struggles against the better teams though gives some early cause for concern for next season.
-
When will Fergie realised Williams and May ARE NOT game changers? Why take Coppinger off as well? Scored the goal and was having a good game.
-
Agreed Syme. We've bullied moderate and poor teams this season but other than Portsmouth we've not really done much against the better sides. Even Exeter at their place was against a team in the bottom few at the time.

Not good enough. Raises question marks around Fergusons suitability as manager for me.

Are you having a laugh? The aim was promotion. We're promoted.

You are joking, aren't you?

Tit....

I think there are genuine questions over his ability. For me he's got us back to where we were when he took over. Next season will tell us a lot more about how good he is.

Oh, for crying out loud!
-
I'm very happy with Fergie. Anyway, looking on the bright side, at least these games against the better teams will have given him more idea on which players will be good enough for next season.
And we're promoted, which was always the main job.
-
It's been a great season, excellent that we've been promoted. A tiny bit pissed off on how we've performed in the last few weeks. There's always next week!

He took us to relegation from the edge of the play off places last year. He has now managed to be able to throw the title away. When things go wrong he doesn't seem to know how to stop the rot.

I'm not writing him off, I'm just suggesting it's a bit early to laud his achievements.

He got us close to the play offs in the first place.
-
This poor run, and today in particular, does raise the question does Fergie REALLY know what he's doing ? A chance to win the title,at home with a full squad to choose from & we play 1 up front. Bizarre !
Im delighted we're promoted but a little deflated, is the best way to sum it up for me.
Roll on next season.
-
Sticking with that team next year will not be good enough
