Its just been announced that next weeks game will be live on Sky.
-
Brilliant - find a good Pub with it on - jobs a good 'un
-
How much do League Two clubs get from SKY for televised games?
-
Awesome, will be on holiday so can now watch it!

Not as much as they would like and doesn't it go to the home team and not the away team?

That announcement is too late, we're booked in at a hotel and already have the tickets. I could have saved a small fortune, especially when the Mrs hits the shops

Don't know to be honest. It would make sense as potentially they lose the gate receipts from armchair fans

Watching on TV can't replace being there when we win the league though can it.
-
Well said gaz, let's hope we put out a attacking team and go for it,I'm sure if we had adopted that attitude in recent matches we would now be champions.
-
...... especially when the Mrs hits the shops
I think you are "safe" unless she's off to Middlesbrough
Enjoy the game - hoping for a win (fingers crossed Emoji)
-
Nailed on that we've blown it now then - we're usually shite on TV.
-
Did'nt do too bad v Leeds at Wembley
Sorry any Leeds fans - forgot you will be smarting a bit missing the Playoffs but look on the bright side - for you the agony is over already !
-
Nor did we do too badly against Portsmouth on TV either.
-
Too late and Plymouth more likely to win the league. Sold down the river and "Failing to plan is planning to fail" I do not want to really say this but I did register my thoughts some time ago on a catastrophic collapse and never in my wildest did I expext or wanted to be right.

Just dawned on me ---Sky Tv - HARTLEPOOL - jEFF STELLING, A real mugging and he can say if they win Donny only a pub team and I have no argument today.
-
Shar'nt be needing the big screen at the ground now will we

Totally agree but when not enough tickets are not made available it's a good second best. Unfortunately that could be our postion also.

Dagenham and Redbridge at Belle Vue (5-1 ?) and at Stoke both seemed to be OK

Portsmouth and Plymouth at home we played really good yes we didn't take the chances we created against Plymouth but we weren't shite. If we play the same against Hartlepool we will win the game.

Surely you wouldn't want to make a profit from a fellow fan?
Plus isn't selling on above face value technically against the law?
Ive got one best offer takes it.

SM will know better than me but I think they can class it as a "local promotion" so long as they haven't done one before.

With all respect mate if you got offered 30 rather than 20 for example you would sell to the highest bidder regardless.

With all respect Balby I would be happy to get back what I had spent.
I have regularly let tickets go at face value over the years if I have had spares.
I went to the last game at the Goldstone ground. Brighton fans were offering £80-£100 for our tickets as we got off the bus and walked to the ground. My mate had two tickets that he wouldn't sell to Brighton fans in case of trouble in our end. When we got inside Richardson had apparently sent somebody down sell ing tickets the night before and there were loads of Brighton fans in there.

Good on you mate.👍
Spoken like a true Balbarian.
I lived there for nearly twenty four years before getting married and then another eighteen months in the early 80s.
