Such a shame that the cheating fits came unstuck
Shocking decision by Deadman though, wonder how many bans will be dished out for diving next season
As much as I dislike him Hylton would be a great partner up front for JM

It was good that the Ch5 (free to watch  ) football show highlighted the dive by Hylton.
It was also discussed at length on Talksport this morning.

Hylton tried a dive in the first half but got nothing for that one.

If the FA are going to study the diving and suspend players who cheat i wonder if they will take that on to study the refs who dont give blatant pens as well and punish them for that too.

Why not increase the ban foe every time they are caught.
If the second time you miss four matches and third time six it would make players think.
It might stop the repeat offenders.

Being cynical unless this is a world wide (FIFA) initiative we are putting ourselves at a disadvantage on the international front. Other countries see this as a tactic whereas we have quite rightly flagged it as cheating

My only problem with this is that I think it could become inconsistent.

I think that's what annoys most about bad decisions. If a ref is missing pulls or maybe card happy, that's fine. It's when they are inconsistent it is the problem

He got the lowest ever score on Rate The Ref as in Points scored per voter

Here are the last 2 Posts from that thread

This must be the lowest score ever.
Then again who gave him two points, Nathan Jones?
Three points from 38 voters says it all really.

It really does say it all - and I did not add to the 38 voters because all I could see was the "results" graph not the Radio buttons.

For the record it would have been 39 voters and he would still be fully deserving of the 3 points cos I would not even give the dipstick 1 point for turning up ! Deadman ? Deadneck !
