Shameful!

I'm failing to see your argument bri. Worried about inequality within the pl re tv games? Surely can't be that top level of product worth more than lower levels? Ps I said top level not top.quality
-
It is ridiculous the amounts involved and does create a boom/bust situation for clubs in the Championship chasing after the pot of gold. I wouldn't be surprised if the level of inequality gets greater soon as the likes of Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea will decide they want to negotiate their own TV deals like Real and Barca do.

I was considering the 'few' as being the Premiership and the rest of the football pyramid the ' many'.

Apparently the gap between the top and the rest (i.e. us) has increased by upwards of £70mil with this new TV deal making the rich even richer. Just obscene.
-
It's all relative though isn't it. If they wanna pay outrageous wages to average players (and the fees to agents) then good luck to them
-
Wasn't the amounts paid by Rovers to agents one if the highest in L2?
-
The amounts are crazy. As this is the first year of the new TV deal Sunderland received more this season than Leicester did last season for winning the Premier League. A very lucrative failure !
-
The richer the Premier League becomes, the poorer the England team becomes. Or is it my imagination?
-
i agree with you Donny Baz.until a limit is put on these foreign players and managers coming over here for money our own players will not be getting game time.i think someone recognises this thats why they want them to play in the EFL cup
-
People have been using foreigners as the excuse since players started coming into the English leagues from around the British Isles.
Fact is, our players just aren't that good.
-
TBF RedJ, not many English players get a regular game in the PL compared to players from other countries.
-
China are the latest country to spend money on foreign players, but theyve been sensable enough to limit the amount per team so their own players can develop.Correct me if i am wrong but dtdnt Spain.Italy and America do the same some years back

No, but they have done for decades previously before the formation of the Premier League with nothing to show for it, apart from one notable exception of course...

It's your imagination, we (England) have won nothing since '66.
