I am not being idle but I have been trying to understand / solve this .... (honest)
Every time I log in to Twitter I get an EMail telling me that "someone has logged in to your Twitter Account" or something similar
It only takes me a second to delete it / or them and although I can see they would alert me to unwanted Log ins I just want to get shut of them on a point of principle
Anyone advise please ? Cheers in advance DW

Go into account settings, there is a log in verification box that you need to un-tick.

Hi
Is that in my Twitter Account or Firefox one. Sorry dumb question I know but I have been looking through them for days and have not spotted the Log in Verification. I have been searching for something like that
That would cure it but in Twitter there is a huge list under EMail notifications but I have not seen that at all. Secondly is it a wise thing to disable or should I just "live with it" ?

In your Twitter account.
Click on your picture on your right -> settings and privacy

Then email notifications and where I have email is disabled (Turn on), you will have email is enabled (Turn off) and click that. It will be just fine.

Hi and thanks for the reply
I have checked this out and my corresponding Page is also "EMail is disabled" and "Turn on" in Blue.
However all the boxes on that Page (except 1) are ticked but they only become active if I select "Turn on" so they are not a problem I hope. Or should I deselect them all as well and then "Turn off" ?
Cheers again DW

You can try that, to deselect them all and then "Turn off"....I only receive that email with the message "someone has logged in to your Twitter Account" only when I log in from a new IP, or new device.
