3 in 3 mins. All well worked goals. Keeper should have stopped Williams' header but it's wet and slippery so we'll let him have that one.

Alfie May nearly makes it 5 with an acrobatic flick with the side of his boot but the keep manages to adjust mid air and get a hand on it. Half time now.
-
Tommy Rowe limping according to Twitter.
Last thing we need is injuries before we've even started

Interesting that the new and improved Rovers Player the score is 0-0 Well worth the money.
-
Rovers trying to score from all angles now. A couple of 25 yarder attempts fizz past the post. Armthorpe keeper makes a couple of good saves too.

Blair cleaned out in the box. No pen says the ref.

All over. 9-0. A good workout.
-
Baudry walked off ok after the game. Hopefully didn't play as a precaution.
-
Rowe seemed to spend half of last season limping!

Rowe seemed to spend half of last season limping!
And still in our top 3 players!!
-
Rowe seemed to clash shins with one of Armthorpe's midfielders just before HT but shook it off and played on.
-
How did Garratt and Walker do?
-
The whole team were excellent, notwithstanding the quality of opposition. Controlled the game from start to finish, but for me the decision making was pretty much spot on all game. The only real chance Armthorpe had was from a keeper miscontrol in the 2nd half.
-
And why no Kiwomya? Another injury?
COYR
-
Nah, I suspect he's not up to full fitness yet. He was there watching, having a laugh and a joke with some kids.
-
Which kit were we wearing? Or is that just a training kit?

Just a training top i believe.
-
Training kit.
From my point of view - level of opposition taken into account - that was as good a first pre-season game as I can remember seeing for a long time. Positive signs from all new lads (a cracking goal from young Whiteman) and, at last, we seem to have found a left back!
Lots of pass and move football throughout which was pleasing on the eye and I really ought to mention what a good 45 mins from young Mason, at the base of the diamond. Not unduly pressed but his control and passing was first class the whole of the first half - well done.
Alfie May is looking fitter and sharper and could come good this season, as he offers something different to the other strikers we have. Can't comment on Mandeville too much, as we left with 15 mins remaining.
Nice to see JM still with us and hopefully for much longer.

Alan, i assume you left early to "beat the traffic".
