sidepoint as i type this harry forrester has just scored "it's like all our yesterdays" but if wendies lose this tommorrow or even today the manager has to go -- i had a soft spot for them but the only soft spot i have for their manager is "Hackney marshes"
time will tell

bleeding 2-1
-
so they lost wish him luck as they wave him goodbye Sam Allardyce is made for this job
-
If SW sack the manager who almost got them to the PL then DF is on borrowed time with us.
-
What kind of comparison is that?
Wednesday had a 2 year plan to get promoted they're now in the 3rd year.
They've spent a fortune.
They've gone backwards every year under him

Dickos, you seem to be jumping on all my posts and picking an rgument with them.
Are you stalking me?
Speaking of long term plans, it is looking increasingly likely that our five year plan to be sustainable in the Championship may require back to back promotions.

All your posts? I think I've replied to 2.
I wouldn't post if it upsets you who replies
It's not looking like that at all, not sure how you feel like we're relegation certainties, nobody has comfortably beat us this season, and we've given the best sides in the league a good game.
Anyhow we've 2/3 years left on that plan, Wednesday are already a year past and they've gone significantly backwards this year
Bolton have scored something like ten goals all season in all comps and 5 of those were against Wednesday

Except when he took over they'd not had a sniff of the Championship Play Offs in over a decade, he did a fantastic job there at first and came very close to delivering great success in both of the last two seasons. Maybe now time is running out for him but I don't think it's fair to say they've gone backwards under him every year.

Fergie's target in his first year with us was to reach the play offs. The plan is changed every year when we fail our objectives.
We will not be a sustainable Championship club within the next few years. Not a chance.

They'd been struggling financially for years, mandaric saved them from financial ruin but they didn't spend a penny.
He then found a wealthy bloke to buy it off him and they invested heavily in the squad and have continued to do so.

More like 52.
It doesn’t upset me, I was just making a statement of fact.
I also didn’t say that we were relegation certainties, it was you who twisted my post.
I said it is looking increasingly likely that we may need back to back promotions to achieve the Championship sustainable status that the club has stated it wants.
Also, whatever you say about us getting good results against the better teams, in five matches against teams below us we have only picked up four points and three of those were against the team firmly rooted to the foot of the table.

I'm fully aware of that, thanks. Doesn't disprove my point.

Expectations changed significantly with investment
Man City had never had a sniff of anything for years but didn't alter the fact that once investment came the managers were under massive pressure to win things
The recent past was irrelevant
-
That's not quite true. While nothing like the team they are now, they were sniffing around the then-UEFA Cup places for a few years not so long before the buyout.
-
so the manager has survived another week
switched the radio on a few minutes ago and Wednesday were 1-0 down almost 2-0 as ball rolled on the post on top of this they are down to ten men --maybe this is their lowest moment of the season --surely it can't get worse

And losing to the likes of Donny Rovers!

so they lost wish him luck as they wave him goodbye Sam Allardyce is made for this job
well it's a couple of months on and the John West Sardine owners of Sheff Wednesday despite showing unbelievable loyalty to the manager finally got rid of him could say the manager "carried the can" for the poor results
the point is Stoke City are 3-0 down at Chelsea after half an hour and surely about to sack Mark Hughes who in the absense of Miracle worker Big Sam Allardyce -- would be an excellent choice as the new Wednesday Manager
time will tell

Did they get rid of him, or did he get rid of them? The speed in which he got the Swansea job would suggest the latter
