Wouldn't say it's a must win, but a performance is essential!

Interesting Alcock's back in so it looks like trying to be secure at the back first.

Williams back on the bench but no Mandeville. Not another niggle?!

Here’s hoping Marquis plays better today.  He’s not been contributing much recently.  Williams is fit again too.

Marquis has been a shadow of the player he was last season but when you consider he scored more goals last season than the rest of his career put together, was last season just a purple patch and is what we are seeing now the real John Marquis. For our sake I hope not but time will tell

Beck ford nearly did us there with strength and pace.  We’be started well, Copps is good.  We can win this for sure.

Are we doing anything that looks as though we might get a goal?

And another off Backford.  We’re playing right well but nothing and no shots or corners.  We’re no threat up front at the mo.

The longer it goes without us scoring the more I worry

Beckfords off! That’ll help us he was their main force.

Beckford must be about 48 now?

Red card for Bury.  Free kick Rovers.

Red card for their defender. Should be a penno rather than a few kick on the edge of the box.

First contact definitely outside  by a couple of foot.

Fairly even first half. Brilliant save from Lawlor from Ince. Bit more accurate shooting we could be winning this.

We’re playing real well defense and midfield but we offer nowt up front.  Even that sending off was a clumsy tumble from Marquis when a good striker would have scored, he went down very easy.  Marquis is definitely our weakness up front.  I hate to pick on one of our lads but he’s a poor footballer, maybe he needs Alfie with him?  I’d change our attack now because we’ve not threatened their goal at all.  I’d bring Beestin onand hope Copps can last out another 45

Which Alfie do you mean? Beestin?

I meant May but he’s injured.  I’d like to see Beestin today he has some speed about him.

They’ve set up for a draw we’re still playing well from the back and mid field but have we pace up front to score?  Tommy Rowe most likely tiger one he’s a real trier.

Another peach of a chance for Marquis - he fluffed it!

There can't be any excuses for not winning this really now.

Against a team in the bottom 4 who will have been playing with 10 men for 45 minutes. Surely we can wear these down in this half.

Williams for Baudry and Whiteman for Alcock. We're going for it. Always lose a bit of confidence when Baudry gets taken off though...

17th at the minute and has poor as we have been only 7 points off the playoffs

Great corner from Copps finds Whitman outside area and he placed his chance very coolly.  I’d relax with another our crowd are making some noise now and enjoying it.

Decent win that. Kongolo worst player today. Didn’t seem interested. A few slack passes from him nearly cost us. I’d rest him for the next game.

Seems we should have had more today but our "main" strikers let us down again

3 points is always welcome!

Good to see Williams back, whether he scored or not.  He's getting chances, so the goals will come...

Bring on the next game!

We dominated both halves to be fair, we looked good except we aren’t creating many chances

Looking at reports on Rovers twitter page came up as full time as Bury 1 Rovers 1 nearly had a ducky fit. Just another Bollo** I guess.  https://twitter.com/drfc_official/with_replies

Agreed ... he either couldn't be arsed or he's totally unfit. He's a liability at the minute and seems to have lost a lot of confidence

Our strikers need to do their job and find the net, both Marquis and Williams are missing sitters, these could count come the end of the season, if we need to stay up on goal difference.

Our goal difference is good though. Performance irrelevant right now, get wins then improve the style.

The positives from today is that defensively we looked much more solid. We also stuck at it today and got the goal when Bury tried to shut up shop. Their sending off should have been a penalty imo but there we are. Now to keep it going.
