Sky suggests 4-1-2-1-2 with Mason holding midfielder and Ben Khemis behind the two strikers. Don't know how much creedence to give that.
Scunthorpe front three of Madden, Church and van Veen looks strong.

Obviously scared of our yooof DU

Injured his hip

Cheers dkn.
Hope he isn’t unavailable for too long as I believe him paired with JM is our best front two.

For a young team especially what finished the game there was sum decent passing at times and kept there front there fairly quiet for large parts but sum poor penalties at the end

They gave the motm to Beestin, who was ok until about the 80 minute mark, but for me, Ben Khemis just pipped it. He was a thorn in the Scunny side all night and got no protection from the referee, with some rough stuff being handed out all game.
Unlucky not to score near the end and he can sleep well tonight, knowing he put a shift in. A mention for Mason also, who looks far more comfortable at defensive midfield than ever he does at either wing back or full back - take note, DF.

Here’s hoping for Lincoln away in next round

Fully agree with previous poster....looked tidy at times, little kid in midfield hardly wasted a pass all game, Amos at left side of back three..looks a prospect, some terrible pens at the end from us and them. All in all showing promise.

I thought we played really well, especially firsthand when we hardly gave Scunny a kick. 2nd half was more even but the youngsters stood up to the plate and battled against some experience in the Scunny side. I thought we deserved the win in 90 mins. Played far more football than Scunny did.
