Finally the Labour Party are using every means at their disposal to hold this über - secretive Government to proper account . No more hiding behind behind the excuses of " this will weaken our negotiation position " . From now on people want to know about the potential of Brexit to utterly destroy yet more claims by the Brexiters .
The latest vote and decision by Parliament using a 19th century precedent forcing the Government to release the 58 dossiers ( in some form or another ) in an un- redacted form was a master-stroke .
Keir Starmer and his team make very worthy adversaries to the sneaky Brexiters .
The people of this country are tired of hearing how a grateful highly enriched population of the UK will be gently herding their unicorns through the Elysian Fields in their post- Brexit fantasy. They know the picture painted is far from the reality about to unfold unless checked.
It's now time for " Leavers " to abandon their masters and see Brexit for what it was - a right wing, ' Russian supported ' coup designed to weaken not only the EU but in a far more dangerous way what remains of a weakened economy and structure of the UK.

Labour might be doing its job as an Opposition but it still won't clarify its position on Brexit or what it expects from a deal. Until it does, I wouldn't get too excited.

Oh they will I suspect when they catch sight of the sector reports. Excited of course because, like this Government , Brexit is going down or at worst will be " soft " . Jobs + Families health and wealth v. Sovereignty/ Immigration controls.

Hmm I think the one's that didn't vote at all should be asking themselves a big question " why couldn't you be bothered to vote in the biggest vote in your lifetimes ? "

I think a better question than "why didn't people vote" is how can this mess be fixed? accept that there was misinformation by the lorry load accept the the vote was a bad idea and that many many people and will be much worse off. There is no reason other than pride that this appalling decision could not be reversed. it would not mean that the reasons why some voted for Brexit would disappear but at least the people of Britain will not be collectively "punished" for lousy politics and lousy leadership.

I hear you Sydney but our people have to start disagreeing en masse and as you rightly suggest at the very least some attempt must be made to address some of the underlying issues that caused that vote by the UK Govt and the EU - now that sort of negotiation would be warmly received not only here but in many European countries too .
Now which politician (s) is/are bold enough to start the ball rolling or indeed who is strong enough to stop this mess or indeed not to stand in the way of such an initiative ?
