Will be following from holiday in Orlando sorry to rub it in ha ha
Let’s do this come on rovers
-
Anyone on Twitter, we'll be discussing the game as it happens over at @DRFC_ITEN although no live feed today as I'm not going to be at the game myself.
-
Today’s team, a strong one
Subs
ROVERS SUBS | Marosi, Beestin, Ben Khemis, Williams, Amos, Mason, Mandeville. #DRFC

Good morning everyone from a bitterly cold Moncton, NB, this is a potential banana skin game. I have a bad feeling about this game, I hope I'm proved pleasantly wrong.
-
Good to see blair back

Ditto !
-
Whiteman not allowed to play?
-
If that’s the case, we will lose him in January.
-
Nothing’s for definite Alan!!!!!
-
Expect Rovers to do a professional job today.
-
Rovers is one of the two games getting full text coverage on the BBC's FA Cup live feed by the way folks.
-
Something different about FA Cup. Cup fever is not quite dead yet but let's hope we're in the hat for the next round!
Can't say we're taking it lightly!
-
Fleet seems like a dirty side, giving away a bad foul in the 1st minute, are they trying to literally kick Rovers out of the game
-

It's what I'd do if I were a non-league side in a game like this.
-
If we can keep our shape despite the rough play, they'll get a few more bookings and back off. If we back off we're doomed!
-
Hope there is a decent ref who will keep control of the game and punish their dirty tactics, otherwise our players will end up as a bunch of walking wounded.
-
Same ref that we had for the Charlton rained off fiasco.
-
Same ref that we had for the Charlton rained off fiasco.
What’s the weather forecast?
COYR
-
Dry I think but it has rained. Not going to worry too much although I'm glad I didn't go considering that long, long trip to Weston for nothing the other year.
Sounds like Rovers are asserting their superiority now without quite getting any clear cut chances away.
-
This is a horrendous game.
-
f**k
-
Oh dear
-
Oh no...pen to them!
-
Kedwell penalty
-
Right, time to step it up now. This doesn't have to be a disaster but is a bit of a wake up call.
Was it a definite penalty?
-
Did nowt happen for a full 15 minutes? BBC were supposedly doing full text commentary but there's a massive gap.
-
1-0
We need to throw caution to the wind now
-
Lawlor booked for wrestling their player to the ground - what was he doing?
COYR
-
OMG 2-0
-
2-0
-
Oooh heck.
-
Shit more shit defending
COYR
-
Good to see we sorted out that concentration problems we had
-
1-0
We need to throw caution to the wind now
Alternatively we could concede a second! :(
-
First goal entirely fault of Lawlor. An absolute pillock.
Second goal decent break for them. Quick feet. Slow defending.
-
The most concerning thing is its probably our strongest 11
-
Does my head right in how often we concede goals quickly after another.
-
HT Bollcking time soon.
-
Fergie Out!
-
They could be 4 up
-
It is usual predictable rubbish. Slow and ponderous play that ends in losing possession. Powderpuff defending. Crazy goalkeeping. Generally no b*llocks.
-
Remind me , who are Ebbsfleet again ? :(
-
The most concerning thing is its probably our strongest 11
Good point, the youngsters are getting better results.
-
Are we capable of a comeback? I have my doubts. We concede easily, but then find it difficult to score. No one is on fire at the moment in the scoring capacity.
-
The most concerning thing is its probably our strongest 11
Was just about to say the same. I appreciate in cup games it’s 11 v 11, but it sounds like an awful game and performance thus far. How can any of it be encouraging. Fingers crossed for a second half improvement.
-
From Twitter
-
The most concerning thing is its probably our strongest 11
With Alcock and Kongolo in?
-
This can't continue - summat needs doing now !
-
Yeay,lifeline 2-1
Some one I know has had £10 on Rovers win at 12/1 when losing 2-0.
-
Goal
-
The most concerning thing is its probably our strongest 11
With Alcock and Kongolo in?
Both started last week. Got to remember Wright & Whiteman are unavailable today too.
-

I say probably as we all have different opinions
-
Needed that, back in the game just before half time
COYR

Goooooal 2-2

He didn't say available. So I assume he meant in general.
-
Needed that as well get in
COYR
-
Just toying with 'em ;)
:scarf: :boxing: :scarf:
-
Scorers??
-
Marquis and Blair.
-
That should calm down the half time bollocking the players were going to get!

Fair enough. It's a good point though, this is a strong first team side put out by us.
Anyway, 2-2 now! Who was worried? ;)
-
Yeay,lifeline 2-1
Some one I know has had £10 on Rovers win at 12/1 when losing 2-0.
I told you it needed action now :)
-
It is not disaster yet. Very lucky to be back in this and for Lawlor to be on pitch.
-
That should calm down the half time bollocking the players were going to get!
COYR
It shouldn't though.
-
Are we capable of a comeback?
Yeah. Probably.
-

You were saying? 😀

What.
-
Blair and Marquis.
-
BBC have first goal down to Rowe.
-
Rowe got the first, not Blair. Mistaken identity by some outlets apparently.
-
Twitter update
-

COYR
Disagree, should still be bollocked for conceding two preventable goals.
-
Nice
-
BBC still says Blair for the first goal.

BBC still says Blair for the first goal.
They also said Saville was a hero for years... don’t always believe what they write!
-
Yeay,lifeline 2-1
Some one I know has had £10 on Rovers win at 12/1 when losing 2-0.
Cashed out £80 and put £30 on us to win at 6/5.£40 profit if we lose/draw,£96 profit if we win.
-
Mason on for Alcock at the break.
-
Wouldn't be surprised if we never see Alcock again if he's been total dogshit.
People may say that's ridiculous but Ferguson has a history of giving players the hook then pretty much banishing them.
-
2-3
-
Get in Copps
From the fleet twitter feed
Not quite sure how that went in. Shot by Coppinger took a huge deflection but Ashmore seemed to be getting to it before he unbalanced.
COYR
-
Coppinger, big deflection. Time to be professional now and make sure there are no more worries.

Mustn't grumble
-
I know we are far from being through yet, but Oldham are 3-0 down at Carlisle so if we do win today, at least we know we won't get yet another tie with them this year!

We still will, somehow.

Copps goal
COYR
-
You'd hope that we have superior fitness to ramp up the pressure in the final 10. Hope to god that we don't sit back and try to park the bus
-
I think we have a Robin Reliant this season, not a bus.
-
Ian Lawlor is an absolute liability. Fortunately for us, so is their keeper
-

Reasons?
-
Oldham back to 2-3 now. Why did I say anything?
-
Guessing this is where the game goes crazy, Ebbsfleet sniff the chance of getting a result here. We need to get another soon.
-

It's usually the Press Association who provide the live text data.

Alcock been shit from middle of last season

78' Matty Blair's cut back is smashed into the roof of the net by Jordan Houghton to extend Rovers' lead! 2-4 #DRFC
COYR
-
Phew! Houghton :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
-
That should settle it for us, certainly will take some of the frenetic play out of it as full time rolls around.
-
Listening to 5live and Chris waddle says that 2 nil wasn't a shock and that the budgets won't be far apart?
The comment was in the context of Leagues One, Two and National, rather than anything specific to either team. Bit of a generalisation.
-

naughty boy, he will be sent to the naughty step.

Coppinger smashes a penalty in, 5-2 now.

Easy, easy, easy
Never in doubt

5-2 Copps pen
82' PENALTY ROVERS, Marquis is brought down in the area and the referee points to the spot. 2-4 #DRFC
83' Coppinger chips the ball straight down the middle for Rovers' fifth of the afternoon. 2-5 #DRFC
COYR

Bet Copps is pissed off subbed on a hatrick
-
When was the last time we scored 6 in a game?
-
6-2 Rowe
86' Tommy Rowe curls a great effort into the corner of the net for his second of the game. 2-6 #DRFC
COYR
-
What's with the emotional fans we have these days?
-
Loving the updates BRR but you can't even keep up with the score we're scoring so many!
-
When was the last time we scored 6 in a game?
7-0 versus Crook Town FAC 4th Qual in 1999
Before that 6-0 at Hartlepool in 1989-90
-
Upset averted at fleet but Blackpool could be on the end of one

That was my first ever FA Cup game, the Crook one. I'm amazed we haven't scored 6 in a game in the 18 years since!
-

Chris Waddle has never been known for his intelligence or football knowledge.
He was specific about the 2 respective budgets
-
And ha ha Blackpool!
-
Nice come on let's have a 7th !
-
Well...I didn't see that coming at 45 minutes
-
How the.hell would waddle know how.much our budget is
-
Full time 2-6 a good result after being 2 down on 45 minutes. Ball 16 in the draw on Monday
COYR
-
2-6 will settle for that but not giving the oppo team a 2 goal start in future.
-
How the.hell would waddle know how.much our budget is
He doesn’t
-
6-2, great win. Made hard work of it first half but hey, into the hat and that's what matters.
-
Another non-league team in Round 2, perhaps? I fancy Gateshead.
-
How the.hell would waddle know how.much our budget is
He can’t be saying anything about our competitive budget he will be reprimanded by SM.
-
Oldham are out! We won't play them in Round 2 thank the lord.
Mind, Notts County and Plymouth are still in the hat so we'll probably draw one of those two instead.
-
Be nice to get a home draw
-

Chris Waddle has never been known for his intelligence or football knowledge.
He was specific about the 2 respective budgets
No, he wasn't.
It was a massive generalisation about Ebbsfleet having gone full time and (somehow) automatically as a result going on a par with every team in League One and Two.
He can't possibly know the respective budgets of 40+ teams.
-
I doubt Waddle knows his own food budget for the week, giving him far too much credence even acknowledging his daft comments.
-
Does anyone know what our budget is?
Some people on here seem to suggest they do!
Waddle is guessing, same as everyone else.

I was only at two of those games...
-
I managed ten. 🙂🙂
-
Had the pleasure to see 5 of those, the best for me was the one where we hammered promotion rivals Aldershot.
-
Does anyone know what our budget is?
Some people on here seem to suggest they do!
Waddle is guessing, same as everyone else.
Of course people know what the budget is.
Since the EFL included rules based on the advice of the DCMS then clubs have to answer questions of a delicate nature. One of those questions is about budgets. Not only that but as a supporters trust we would be failing in our duty not to ask questions about the financial state of the club and the financial stability. From your tone I would suggest that you're calling those supporters liars. Care to expand?

Expand on what, SM?
If you're wanting to turn this into something else, be my guest, but not on here. I'll discuss this further if you want, in private.
