Considering it was on sky and the races were on, 12.5k is fantastic, hopefully any first timers enjoyed the day.. and will be back. Gates are deffo on the way up which is good for the budget..
-
Not bad, about 4K from Rotherham meaning about 8.5 from the Rovers fans. Now if they’d, the Rovers fans, would like to come every home game it would really be a bonus

It was good to see the ground nearly full again
-
Hope they havent been put off by the late goal, the South was rocking up until then, always feel like we blow these opportunities when we get a decent crowd, wont be that many their for the rest of the season thats for sure, just hope we can stay up then build for next season.
-
Good atmosphere but the game was not exactly a thriller
-
I know Blackburn didnt play but we had the second highest attendance in the league today after Bradford
-
We put on about 1-1.5k extra supporters then.
-
Yeah be nice if we can at some point sustain it again. It does feel like off the pitch the clubs getting things right given the clear uptake in crowds. If only it was better on it at home they really could improve.
-
There were Rotherham in the home end
-
If there were Rotherham in the home end, there weren't 1500 of em. As the original post says, its a good crowd and good home crowd given it was on sky and the races were on the same day. Why the feck were the races on the same day?! The game should have been moved to Sunday really.
-
Yeah i def didnt see any, love how fans on here try and put a downer on everything ffs
-
If Filo posted that then I am sure he will have had good reason.

Three rows in front of me bloke jumped up when Rotherham scored then quickly picked his lad up so he would n't get lamped
-
So one man and his son, stop trying to act like the home end was full of Rotherham fans when that wasnt the case.

Where did I say it was full of em?
There were actually four and a kid, you can bet your life there was more elsewhere
-
Yeah Filo stop boring everyone with your bs, there we go everyone we have no fans and Rotherham are massive

A bit of an over reaction there Wheatley.
-
They brought loads of fans considering they don't care about us and we're irrelevant to them.
-
Ha, as we were walking away after the match I heard one rotherscum fan say to his mate that we had scraped a draw in our cup final.
-

If you've got a problem mate just say, rather than pick an argument over f**k all
-
Thought I'd seen that they didn't quite sell out? Good crowd good atmosphere today hope it continues

Let's be friends guys...unbeaten in 3 against Rovscum #sticktogether
-
No reason for Rotherham to take seats in the home end. The away end wasn't rammed.
-
Away end wasn’t sold out so no need to go in the home end
-
Crowds are up. Dog shit on the turf
-
Nice positive post 😊 well half of it anyway 😴
-
We are currently averaging 8291 for home league matches
The last time we averaged over 8000 below the Championship was 1969-70
-
That's good news and you wonder how many more would come if we push for the play offs.
This must be good for the coffers on top of TV games v Arsenal, Rotherham and now Scunthorpe.
-
Do we know that the Sunny game is going to be on tv?

Do we know that the Sunny game is going to be on tv?
Our game is part of the BBC final score, not sure what that means in terms of coverage.

So do we get paid extra money by the beeb for that happening ?
-
We get extra money, although whether it will compensate for a smaller crowd is a moot point.
-
Couldn't have picked a worse match to be televised, as I can't see Scunny playing any different to their last visit back in September. It will be yet another game where space and time on the ball will be at a premium!
The only way that will change is if we score first and then, just maybe, it might produce a more open contest and spectacle for the armchair mob.
-
It’s not live on tv though
