Why wouldn't he? Away from home, with two of our three fit strikers woefully out of form.

Example Marquise just cut back across the area and no one there. Now with another striker that could have been a goal.

Only if the other striker was where he pulled it back to and he wasn’t marked, there again it could have been another crap pass from Marquis

Other players are allowed to go into the box. Rowe and Copps should be supporting.

You can't just chuck lots of forwards on, especially away from home. In this 3-4-3 formation, it is down to Copps and Rowe to support Marquis in situations like the one you describe.

That’s Why Coppinger and Rowe are in the front three they should be getting in those positions if they don’t then they need replacing.

Lovely move there Rowe and Copps. Took a good save.  Even 1st half Rovers had the better chances and more corners.  They’re trying to do us on the break but DF has the defense playing tight and strong

According to BBC, we have only had 1 shot on target, to Fleetwood's 3, so how we have had the better chances is a mystery!

Could be to do with the quality of the build up play?  Stats don't show that...

More than meets the eye to stats. All three of Fleetwood's attempts have been easy saves for Lawlor.

Chances include the ones that aren't on target or are fluffed altogether , like a miskick.

Radio commentator said he had a go at the ref after a bad foul on a Fleetwood player on kongolo.
Apparently the offence was worthy of a red card.

Satisfactory, a clean sheet. Marquis seems to have had a few good chances.

Wigan just conceded a last minute goal to lose at home to Bradford, so let's hope confidence is low for them on Tuesday.

Despite the recent decent run however we are still only two points away from the bottom four.

I’m hoping thaydon’t do us now in extra time.  Well Rovers defend well but we’re no threat in opponents box.

However the report on the BBC website implies their keeper makes 3 good saves from Marquis, only one of those chances could have won the game for us..

"Cairns thwarted his home-town club in the second half as he saved John Marquis' glancing header before flying through the air to tip a thunderbolt from the striker over.

A classic Fleetwood counter should have given Uwe Rolser's side all three points as Jordy Hiwula released Cole but his effort was stopped by Lawlor.

But it was to be Cairns who had the last word as he marked his 50th Football League appearance for the club by tipping another fierce Marquis effort over."
