Title: Henry Winter
Post by: Chris Black come back on December 19, 2017, 11:07:59 pm
Someone told me this but I didn’t believe so I checked. He has 1.2 MILLION followers on Twitter. Far more than pretty much every English player. Massive reach.

Do I remember correctly that he has some personal or family link to Donny?

Not sure about his Donny connections, but I remember him on the TV. Happy Days was one of my favourites.

Way less than Louis Tomlinson's 30m + following.

A following that the club could utilise if we could get him attached to the club as an ambassador or something.

A tweet of his back in 2011:
"Btw, my wife used to stand in Cow Shed at Donny. Long time ago!"

That is it! Good recall.

On Louis Tomlinson, my point was that a writer about football has greater reach than most superstar players. Quite something.

A lad with millions of young folk following him wasn’t quite parallel I was drawing.

I also used to stand in the Cowshed, but only at half-time. The wooden benches were so uncomfortable one's bottom needed to recuperate for 15 minutes (or was it 10 in those days).

He married Catrina Elliot from Misson and last I heard lived in Stamford
