Very late I know. Be a fortune what’s the best route and way to book it to get down on Saturday? Sheffield>Birmingham>Bristol?

Anyone knows of any drop outs let me know also

Cross- country trains are on strike 23 and 24 December. Was going until I found that out.

I believe they’ve called off the strike for those day.

Not quite. The Virgin Trains strike has been called off but the Cross Country one is still on.

This is what to come with Austerity coupled with Brexit . Just like the 1970s all over again , expect a lot more of this as wages get squeezed further.

Fecking inconvenience after inconvenience still it's what many wanted .....the worst is yet to come.

  Hoola, we are still in the E.U. so the blame should be aimed at the political elite of that organisation, letting things get this bad, don't you think.
  And the last time I looked, as long as workers followed a set of laid down laws, they could still withdraw their labour in protest.
  At least they are not parking tractors all over the place, like your brothers in mainland Europe do.
